Adam: are bad. Adam Curry, John Dvorak, Sunday, March 7 2021. This is your award winning cable nation media assassination Episode 1327 This is no agenda 966 dan and counting broadcasting live from opportunity zone 33 here in the frontier of Austin, Texas capital of the drone Star State in the morning,
0:22
John: everybody. I'm Adam Curry and from Northern Silicon Valley where we can report an eight car Zephyr I'm John, Dvorak.
0:31
Unknown: buzzkill.
0:33
Adam: Ladies and gentlemen right off the Bible might as well alert the boys over Squawk Box CNBC we have an eight car Zephyr we have a very stable slowly growing economy Bitcoin 51,033. Oh my god.
0:51
John: Of course the Zephyr was reported at a Denver.
0:57
Adam: Wait a minute. Do we have other Zephyr outposts that I'm unaware of?
1:01
John: We do now.
1:02
Adam: Nice. That's our
1:03
John: Denver producer.
1:04
Adam: That's the way to go. That is very good
1:06
John: cover Sunday cuz there's no Zephyr guy here. I was surprised. Yesterday, Zephyr.
1:12
Adam: I seen cnn isn't doing it. I figured we might as well just keep the death count. You know, they did that for the past year on how many people died with COVID. So I think we should do how many people died from the vaccine 966 so far.
1:28
John: I have the handout you get when you go get a vaccine from Pfizer.
1:34
Adam: Oh, okay.
1:36
John: Now there's a big giant thing. I want to go over it because it's it's many pages. It's like six, seven bits. Six. That's eight pages. Wow. There's a couple of pages in front to keep you from reading the real pages.
1:49
Adam: Is it all in uppercase? So you really can't read it. It's just swims in front of your eyes like a EULA.
1:56
John: The first couple pages are about the safe. The Safe the after vaccination health check guy
2:03
Adam: yeah, you're supposed to check in with them or they're supposed to call you or something like that.
2:07
John: You aim your smartphone at the code and then you end up getting and they call you every few minutes. They say okay, okay, okay. Are you okay? until you tell it to stop? And so this goes on for a couple pages and then you Okay, complete and then did the V save how to all cool. It's called uptempo and Ariel. And then boom, then the fact sheet for recipients and caregivers. What font is he What
2:34
Adam: is he? What font is that in?
2:38
John: It's awesome. That's curious. He also an area okay. Might be I don't think it's Helvetica. But I have to look at it. teach it. Now it goes, you've been offered the vaccine. It's a slight This was six pages of, of just pages of stuff that seems normal until you get to you know, as I highlighted about eight of the sentences that should be read. There is no US Food and Drug Administration approved vaccine to prevent COVID-19.
3:12
Adam: Well, let me stop right there. This is very interesting. One of our producers pointed out to me, if you know if the if you don't feel comfortable with the I'll just wait for a wait until it's my time where I don't want to jump the line. You can also say yes, I'll consider the vaccine once it's been approved by the FDA. To which immediately people go there's reason, man. Yeah. Is any of them approved by the FDA? Or do they have emergency use authorization? It's all of them. It's dynamite is dynamite to use this
3:45
John: day and here it goes. A couple of paragraphs later, the Pfizer biontech. They'll put that in there. Nice one, I guess they've been asking for more credit. COVID-19 vaccine may not protect everyone. On word, the Pfizer biontech COVID-19 vaccine is an unapproved vaccine that may prevent COVID-19. page two now this one I'm going to read it although I don't really want to because I can't. Okay, that is what is the scent is the paragraph that says what are the ingredients in the Pfizer? biontech COVID-19? Yeah, well, here's your witch's brew. I'm going to try to read it. The vaccine includes the following ingredients mRNA lipids, four hydroxy butyl as a night as an ideal bisse hexane six one dial Biss to hexane Deccan note Deccan oak out that's red dye number three, two polyethylene glycol dash 2000 and n dye tetra cycler as said have made vape juice one to die sterile s n gleiss Shiro three phospho ko phospho ct, Coleen and cholesterol,
5:14
Adam: the good kind or the bad kind?
5:18
John: potassium chloride mano basic potassium phosphate, sodium chloride die basic sodium phosphate. I'm sorry, die basic sodium phosphate, dihydrate, dihydrate and sucrose sugar in there.
5:36
Adam: Yeah, well, at least it's not high fructose corn syrup.
5:39
John: Next page. vaccine is an unimproved an approved vaccine. next paragraph, the duration of protection against COVID-19 is currently unknown. vaccine could cause a severe allergic reaction, whoops.
6:01
I don't know why I highlighted this one. So it says what if I decide not to get to Pfizer by an tek COVID-19 vaccine? Oh, it is your choice to receive it or not receive it
6:11
Adam: doesn't have that emphasis in there, that's good. Or not?
6:14
John: Should you decide not to receive it, it will not change your medical your standard medical care, oh, this is interesting. This is rude. I know I underlined this. So what it says here is that if you choose not to receive this vaccine, it will not then think about this change your standard medical care. That means nobody can require you to have the vaccine if it has anything to do with your your doctor or going into the hospital or getting an operation or anything
6:46
Adam: which should be between you and your doctor because that is what Roe v. Wade, determined
6:52
John: Roe v. Well, it's not Roe v. Wade, but
6:54
Adam: Oh, no. Well, don't
6:56
John: keep going. It should be between you and your doctor. But if it's in your record, it is your doctor. And your doctor can't say you didn't get the COVID vaccine. So he can't give you this. We can't remove this cyst. Or you can't come into the hospital? Because you don't you didn't get the COVID baxa. Pa, I don't think people realize that.
7:23
Adam: Well, and this goes to the whole passport things can be no discussion of passport until at least these things are approved by the FDA, wouldn't you say?
7:32
John: I think I think that's 100%. Correct.
7:34
Adam: Yeah. And that is that is the first the first step because it'll take years to approve these. It's not going to just happen overnight. You'll
7:41
John: never get approved now.
7:42
Adam: So that's a that's pretty. That's a pretty interesting idea. Excuse me. You can't have a passport for something that's unapproved and have to be pushed
7:51
John: down the ladder. There's only one last one very at the very end. I don't know. It says it does say this at the people course aren't gonna read any of this. If I read this, I wouldn't take
8:00
Adam: you walk right out. You slam that syringe on the ground.
8:04
John: The Pfizer biontech COVID-19 vaccine has not undergone this undergone the same type of review as an FDA approved or cleared product.
8:16
Adam: Boom. That's it. That's it. There's so there's your answer. None of this can take place until that's approved. And I have high doubts. We don't know that much about the vaccine. In fact, San Diego did an interesting thing this past week. And they just say it out right we really don't know too much about this vaccine. A group
8:37
Unknown: of great apes in San Diego have made history as the first animals to receive the COVID-19 vaccines in the US. According to a wildlife health officer. The decision to administer the vaccines came after eight gorillas at the San Diego Zoo became the first great apes in the world to contract COVID the apes are expected to be tested to see whether they develop antibodies, which would indicate that the vaccine is working. And I know some people are saying they're animals actual humans need this vaccine. You know what they're endangered. So we could actually sort of learn a lot about how the vaccine works as well.
9:13
Adam: oh seven, learn how the vaccine works, shoot it into the great apes, which you should have done in the first place. I think
9:23
John: some animal management of the Nancy Pelosi comment let's pass this bill. So we find
9:28
Adam: out what's in it exactly. So we have a new term a new a new syndrome, which is very bad, which is now cropping up and it's been given a name by the mainstream media. As we go to 50 miles outside of Chicago for this one life was good for 48 year old Ben price the married father of two was a farmer and business owner in Morris. In February he contracted covid 19 after riding in a car with others to Bible study. Two weeks later,
9:58
Unknown: he took his own life.
10:00
would never have left us. Our Ben did not leave us. And that's what we want to get out is he was not our baton
10:07
prices widow Jennifer says her husband was hospitalized for four days with lung and oxygen issues. He came home a different man.
10:16
He would just pace through the house and repeat things and it wasn't even his normal tone of voice. It was a very different tone. He was very scared. He just kept repeating. I'm sorry, I'm so scared. I'm so scared and he just kept repeating. Then he would stare out the window. And he was just worried about things that that weren't even
10:42
happening 16 days from COVID diagnosis to death by
10:46
suicide. Despite doctors prescribing Xanax to try to calm him.
10:51
Adam: Well, doctors have not yet been able to determine event price had something known as COVID psychosis. Medical experts say the virus can definitely impact a person's brain. Okay COVID psychosis I think this is important to recognize because it can be a no cebo effect even for people who've had the vaccine they can they can be so freaked out over everything people are going crazy. Wow. And it's it's no sir terrible at the machine. The machine is turning full strength man mean that counter to the democrats who want to open up and take all their winnings. Their 350 billion for basically New York, Chicago and New York, Illinois and California. And the biosecurity state wants us to stay locked up.
11:43
John: And Octavia united didn't have any clips but i was uh, maybe I do but this morning I watched television before I came in here to the studio. And
11:55
Adam: yes, in the studio Sure.
11:57
John: And that all I was all that was on were all these different commentators on these news shows. Talking about Abbott Abbott Abbott is not so he's the only guy that did this. But yeah, he dropped a mask mandate ABS I think South Carolina is a bunch of people that did in South Dakota never had one I've clipped but Abbott Abbott Abbott. They're all Oh is always about Abbott. They are going nuts over your governor Abbott.
12:26
Adam: Oh, yeah. Well, Texas is bad. Texas is the largest state. You know, and and we're a bunch of douchebags. I mean, you know this, this is a remember when I had that business meeting with the guy in San Diego, the Hollywood guy, and he's like Texas. At least you're in Austin is not like once you go stick it up your ear brother.
12:49
John: Yeah, no, this has never been to Texas, no anything other than
12:51
Adam: what the machine is trying to do. He's trying to tell us a couple things. One, look at these nut jobs in Texas taking their mask off, even though that has nothing to do with the order that Governor Abbott and the other governors, they haven't said take your mask off. They said, Look, we're not going to mandate this anymore. Y'all can figure it out. And they actually said y'all because that's what we say here. But that is immediate, not even. We discussed in the last show. It's not even turned into social distancing, because that's gone out the window. But now it's just the mouth about the mask. So it's even though everyone can do whatever they want. The machine needs to tell you that we're all going to die. Because of this. We'll start with a refresher of what took place this past week as the order was announced it doesn't go into effect until Wednesday or Thursday. I think
13:39
Unknown: the debate over wearing masks is raging now that are lifting their mask mandates. Despite the change in state policy, some cities and large retailers including target and Kroger are keeping their mass requirements in place. Dr. Anthony Fauci
13:53
says the decision by Texas and Mississippi is ill advised President Biden went further in his criticism, calling it Neanderthal thinking.
14:01
I think it's a big mistake. The last thing we need is Neanderthal thinking that in the meantime, everything's fine. Take off your mask.
14:08
Forget it.
14:10
Adam: So everyone jumped on the pile. These are ABC, ABC clips, by the way, including governor Newsome, your governor out there pretty boy. And in California, Governor Gavin Newsom, calling out other leaders who forgo mass mandates and other restrictions. We are
14:25
John: encouraging people basically to double down on mask wearing, particularly in light of all of what I would argue is bad information coming from at least four states in this country,
14:38
Adam: like Texas Governor Greg Abbott have doubled down on it with the disinfo state.
14:43
Unknown: Coming from at least four states in this country.
14:46
Adam: leaders like Texas Governor Greg Abbott, who doubled down on his decision to lift restrictions Texans have mastered the safe strategies. They don't need an order from Austin, Texas telling him what to do.
14:57
Unknown: Now Dr. Fauci
14:58
Adam: says studies are being conducted Right now on vaccinated people to find out which activities are safe, and which restrictions could be possibly lifted in the future. Well, this is interesting. Now all of a sudden we're discussing and evaluating what restrictions could be lifted. I think we should remind everybody in ourselves that that was supposed to be kind of when we had the vaccine, it would That's it, you're done. You're vaccinated. You go out No, no, no.
15:23
John: Yeah. The timeline was we got to do all these things until the vaccine. It was always until until
15:31
Adam: the vaccine, and my buddy Dave is the promise. My buddy Dave Jones lives in Alabama, and they were all hoping that their governor would follow suit with their governors. I think she's like 91 years old. Her nicknames like marmi, something like that. And she just is old crotchety lady but she buckled under pressure.
15:51
John: We're not there yet, but goodness knows we're getting publicity. Governor Kate is playing it safe and you extending Alabama's masked mandate another
15:58
Unknown: five weeks.
16:00
John: Contrast that with Texas and Mississippi. Republican governors. They're announced this week. They're lifting mask mandates. reversals President Biden called Neanderthal thinking. Alabama's masking extension encourage staff at this mass vaccination clinic near Birmingham.
16:16
Unknown: It really signals to everybody that we are not out of the woods yet.
16:22
But five miles away at Archie's barbecue General Manager Michael Min akitas had hoped the mask mandate would go away. 90% of my customer base is against it. I will say that they feel like they shouldn't have to wear it. masking rollbacks in Texas and Mississippi mean 16 states will no longer have mask requirements by next week.
16:46
Adam: Yeah, it's out of control. They can't handle this now. Now it's become a problem. The fire has been lit. They can't stop these governors from opening up their states and people are starting to realize that this is some crap. So now we start to get the announcements as I expected, Gold's Gym will not require mass for its members. We will reopen 100% capacity this coming week.
17:09
John: That's in Texas.
17:11
Adam: Yeah, but although this is not about hcb this is what the grocery stores are doing.
17:17
Unknown: krandalls grocery stores now says it will require customers to wear masks after the state mandate is lifted Wednesday. It says frontline associates haven't had full access to vaccines. We've updated our story about which grocery stores will require masks and which won't. a kickstand comm just search for mask stores.
17:39
Adam: And he made a similar similar announcement which is not going over well, their real Texas outfit and I think a lot of people are disappointed by that. But But the story that their frontline workers have not been vaccinated yet. Well, isn't aren't they frontline workers? Aren't these the people who are supposed to have it so we could all be safe and now you're continuing to mandate mass because they don't have their vaccinations yet. Everything is so Crooked Man. So crooked very
18:07
John: strange. And now I'm gonna guide before we continue I which I want to do. I want to play this clip because I want you to explain to me what the deal is with this Neanderthal term.
18:21
Unknown: This is the COVID clip this you gotta have you have to tell you what it is. Okay. COVID PBS x ape, while we're talking about COVID not this relief bill, but something else this week, several governors announced, Jonathan, that they are lifting their mask mandates. And President Biden when asked about that said it was it sounded to him like Neanderthal thinking.
18:46
He's gotten a lot of blowback since then.
18:49
smart thing to say, What
18:50
do you think, Jonathan? Well, Judy,
18:53
Adam: I'm gonna leave aside the President's comments. A lot of people are upset that he used the word Neanderthal. One person emailed me and said that it was a pejorative and I get where they're coming from. But we've got bigger issues to worry about here and don't want to hear any noise from the far right or from conservatives complaining about the President's language when after four years, they completely ignored or pretended not to hear, see or read any of the tweets from the previous president. What we're dealing with here is a pandemic where, at least here in the United States, we were within reach of getting it under control hospitalizations, infections, deaths were on the downslope and we have seen over the last few days at least, that the levels of infections have stopped going down. You take on top of that Texas and Mississippi deciding that they're just going to give up no more masks open up completely. I think what a lot of scientists are looking at is the possibility of more a an upswing in reinfections. Right when we were on the panel Half. And it looks like we're on a very good path to having a summer, late summer certainly fall where we could start, we could be back to what we used to think of as normal. I wish that the governor of texas and the governor of Mississippi would would spend more time thinking and looking at the science and what the science says should be done, which would then make it possible for those states to open up safely, more quickly
20:28
than they're going to now. And by doing all of that, you get people back to work, you get economies moving again, and you get back
20:36
Unknown: to normal.
20:37
Adam: Who the hell was this? jabroni.
20:40
John: That's that capehart guy who's gonna take over from David Brooks. He's the one who argues with Brooks, because I think Brooks is getting fired.
20:48
Adam: Oh, no. Brooks is is on the way out. He's got all kinds of backup backroom Carl slicks interest. Now, of course, he had to be because he is himself a moderate or somewhat conservative. So we had to go it's clear, goodbye. But this guy, this is not a medical guy. He's just talking out of his butthole. But it's part and this is what it is. It's
21:14
John: the, the irony of that clip is where he says, oh, if we would have just waited till fall Next, you know, six months from now we can go back to normal. Well, that's what they're doing in Texas.
21:26
Adam: No, then that's not even true. It's not even by the way. Here in Texas, that comment from the President about Neanderthal. everyone hears like, how poor man's elderly abuse, let him go. No one cares. They really don't care here and I
21:44
John: don't get to LG. I don't know some of the key parts said in there. He says it's a pejorative to who, maybe to Abbott,
21:53
Adam: but who get Who cares? No, no one took it personally. It was dumb. But the only thing that may be m five M is doing here is to say, See, just like Trump when he says something off color we report on it. Would that be it? Because he did mention that like,
22:09
John: hey, if that's it, that's the worst came
22:11
Adam: up in the report, didn't it? He said, you know, they've all forgotten what
22:14
John: the what Trump tweeted. That's what he does. But yeah, he will he's going by some talking points that were unaware of it take a while to deconstruct what what his how he's oriented, I can't figure it out yet.
22:27
Adam: Back to the biosecurity state that is fighting against the political state. Here we have former FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb, and he has his own version of what it's all what's really going to happen. And when we can, we
22:40
John: can expect to go back to some normality. One is these comments by Dr. Fauci over the weekend, suggesting that we're all going to be wearing masks irrespective of whether we've been vaccinated or not into 2022. Do you agree with that?
22:58
Unknown: I don't think so. I think that there might be circumstances where some of us will want to wear masks, I don't think this is going to be linear to Dr. Fauci also said that he thinks things will be normal by December, I think things will be normal in the spring, in the summer of this year, I
23:11
think in the fall, we're going to have to take certain precautions, but we're going to be back doing stuff. And then as we get into the deep winter, as it starts to circulate again, I think come December, we may start to pull back. That doesn't mean we're gonna have shutdowns and be doing what we did this December. But you know, it means we might not have holiday parties board meetings in December might be zoom, rather than in person meetings,
23:30
there's going to be things. So this isn't going to be a linear progression over the course of the year where it gets progressively better than by Christmas time. It's
23:37
all good.
23:38
I think this is a respiratory pathogen that circulates in the wintertime and once it becomes wintertime, again, in 2021 2022, we're going to need to take certain precautions. I think if there's going to be a normal time over the next 12 months, it's likely to be this spring and summer.
23:52
Adam: Let's decode this. What he's saying is, oh yeah, you get a little break and then we're gonna yank your right back down You stupid, stupid, stupid slaves. And this summer. Oh, yeah. Really? You think the machine is gonna let you have a nice spring and summer? I don't think so.
24:09
Unknown: So with Florida,
24:10
having a quarter of the cases of the V 117 vary in the entire country? How
24:15
concerned are you have another search.
24:18
Adam: This is the mayor of Miami Beach,
24:20
Unknown: a lot of things are happening simultaneously. You've got the variant down here and off, Phil are having sometimes dozens of deaths in our county. And at the same time, we've got incredibly cheap, round trip tickets for 40 bucks, you know, from anywhere in
24:35
Adam: this segment mug deaths per day. What's the average age of the Florida residents?
24:42
John: Certainly during the whole I think it's Let me guess I think I pretty much notice I believe 103 at the same time.
24:50
Adam: And that's just so Horowitz who's up in the ante that cheap, round trip tickets for 40 bucks, you know from anywhere in the northeast down here, discounted rooms and people who have been really in there, you know, bent up and no wanting to get out with no other place to go than here. So we're we are very worried that there's going to be a convergence of people here. And in a real problem in the aftermath of that, but but all those people coming here and go to bars which are open, but per the governor's order, go to restaurants, and most of our restaurant restaurants have been really responsible. There's a lot of outdoor dining, hotels have been incredible in terms of setting up all the protections for people, but it's really the bars and those other kinds of gatherings. That might become the kinds of super spreaders that I think we saw a year ago, super spreader, just like last year, they just gonna keep coming atcha they're gonna lower.
25:45
John: What's wrong with that guy. By the way, the governor didn't order the bars to be open,
25:50
Adam: and how that's they look, positioning that Abbott ordered the mass mandate lifted, average age in Florida, 42 years old compared to Texas 34.6. But all of this talk about masks, it's all finally been resolved. It's finally now we know. Oh my goodness. I'm glad we have the final study. Tonight Dr. Anthony
26:14
Unknown: Fauci says he's concerned that a recent drop in infections nationwide, has now stalled and could start climbing again. New research from the South Sea appears to back that up suggesting that in places where in person dining is allowed, the death rate from COVID goes up. At the same time scientists at the CDC say they now have evidence that masks work, leading to fewer infections and deaths.
26:38
Adam: They have evidence now john, aren't you happy to know that the debate is finally after a year? Yes. Yeah. Now there's some interesting thoughts about about the reaction, the response about about the masks, certainly in Austin and I would say if you if you look on social media, the outrage is mainly from women. And I'm sure a lot of them are moms and they've been terrorized, but can be over a no agenda, social calm, posted something. And I said, I have a theory. It's about face makeup. I found this out in Japan pre COVID. I asked a local why there were so many women who wore masks on trains as opposed to the men. And the women I was the woman I was with told me is because they couldn't be bothered doing their makeup in the morning and are just running errands and didn't want to take out you know, just so the mask on. It's the Lulu lemon stretch pants for the face. And I have a feeling there's something there's something to that.
27:42
John: Wow. That's a great post is that
27:46
Adam: again, that's from cambie no agenda social, you know, and along with that comes, it was uh, let me see, where's this now? There was a post about a whole bunch of that blue checkmarks on Twitter. And they are all looking forward here. They're all basically saying the same thing. Like, Oh, here it is. Let me read this in. So these are, quote unquote, verified people and they may be their journalists. The one who kicked off this. This tweet thread is Emily ramshaw. I think she was the CEO of 19th News. Now it's kind of like these buzz BuzzFeed Vox outlets. And here's her tweet. Suddenly, today I panicked about life inching back toward normal. I don't want to travel endlessly for work. I don't want my weekends to be over committed with activities. I don't want to miss bedtime with my kid. I don't want to wear blazers or Hell, even shoes. And, and peep all these blue checkmarks start piling in. Yes. The thought of going back to my old routine horrifies me or yes to this 1000 times Yes. Another one. I started to feel so much of this week too. I I want to travel and eat out so badly and yet I'm terrified about returning to the life I had pre pandemic.
29:09
John: What is what is going on a great reset
29:12
Adam: is about Nothing's going on. This is very and these are elites obviously these are not poor people. These are check mark people. I wonder if there's a correlation in income and check marks not just because you have a check mark. I don't want to generalize. But this there is something here about them not really even wanting to go back to normal.
29:35
John: I think JC who works from home from work. He works at a startup a couple different ones. I think he's in the same camp. I think a lot of the millennials are in this camp. They don't like what they were doing. I mean, they liked the job. They like the potential for income. They like the money but they didn't like to have to go to work and when she's It was so you know, I have to get up I had to put shoes on I gotta put makeup on. face and I got to you know go all the way to work and back through the toll gates and all the rest it's too much too hard.
30:10
Adam: Some of these must be teachers too.
30:13
John: I think teachers all the teachers are on this camp.
30:16
Adam: Yeah. Well if there's no
30:18
John: will I got to go see these brats. I got to go on she did deal with these 25 brats. Ah.
30:27
Adam: You know, I have heard teachers talk that way.
30:31
Unknown: Whoo. Yeah. I have a couple other clips. Okay. A few more. So whenever you're
30:38
John: here and let's do the COVID first let's get this out of the way because you hear all these people it's going to go back up although and that k part guy ah is really we have our was in an inch was in a grasp. I can almost get there and then they pull me back because of because of Texas because there's a one guy in Texas. Yeah, the Neanderthal, the Neanderthal guy in Texas COVID cases that Meanwhile, they're still telling us this COVID cases declining on BBs.
31:08
Unknown: The number of new Coronavirus cases continues to drop in the United States about the decline has slowed slightly. Yesterday there were more than 65,000 new cases 12% drop from two weeks ago According to The New York Times. Overall, there have been nearly 29 million cases of COVID-19 counted in the US and more than 520,000 deaths. The drop in cases has prompted a growing number of states to loosen health restrictions. Yesterday, Arizona Governor
31:37
Doug Ducey ended capacity limits on the state's business, but kept mask wearing and social distancing requirements in
31:44
place. Also yesterday, South Carolina governor Henry McMaster lifted a mass mandate and government buildings and California officials announced that theme parks may partially reopen as soon as April. But public health officials like Dr. Anthony Fauci warned that loosening restrictions now could lead to yet another spike in covid 19 cases,
32:07
Adam: man, all they have to do is just send out a memo and up the cycle count on the PCR. Yeah,
32:13
John: boom, there's your spike and good to
32:14
Adam: go. That's all they gotta do. And they've already done that in Ontario. They raised it from 30 to 35. Oh,
32:21
John: yeah, they get the numbers up.
32:23
Adam: Ontario numbers
32:24
John: going up, we can predict it now. Might as well don't even need to put it in the book here play this too. And this is the COVID Uk report. This is where it's really crap
32:33
Unknown: and have a good evening, the
32:34
health secretary has hailed what he called seriously encouraging evidence suggesting that a single shot of one of the COVID vaccines available in the UK cuts hospitalizations by 80%. In an additional sign of the potential efficacy of the vaccination program, the number of patients over 80 admitted to intensive care with COVID in the UK has dropped a single figures. Meanwhile, labour has accused the government of unforgiveable incompetence as health officials continued their attempts to trace the person who tested positive for the Brazilian variant of the virus. And the Deputy Chief Medical Officer warned there was greater uncertainty about the prospects of summer holidays abroad this year. Our science correspondent Thomas Moore reports.
33:20
It is about as far removed from the Amazon as you can imagine, but the patchwork of South Gloucestershire is now the frontline of an urgent attempt to contain a significant new variant
33:30
John: of Brazil
33:33
Adam: that's racist you can't say that can't say where it's from man.
33:38
John: Yeah, yeah. Compare the way it works. It seems as though some guy went through the system and I guess to the right system where they had to test for the various they found the very the guy was gone when he when they came out, tell him or whatever. I don't know. Oh, np this. country's in a tizzy. It's a manhunt. Man hunt for someone dude.
34:02
Adam: Beaujolais Mojo the jabber is on a manhunt. We'll
34:05
Unknown: get him
34:08
John: jabber.
34:11
Adam: Alright. Well, yo, you can also jab in Joe, there's another one.
34:18
Unknown: Bo Joe.
34:20
Adam: Joe, Joe. The jabber is like just hunting this guy down sticking with the needle.
34:24
John: Meanwhile, I should just other this is the South North or South Africa. But the South Africans have pretty much the same ratio of deaths and everything to us. the only country in South America I'm sorry, the only country in Africa that has this phenomenon, but they seem to be a lot calmer about it with pretty much the same percentage numbers that we have every which way. They don't seem to be so jacked up.
34:50
Unknown: South Africa has moved into the lowest level lockdown further relaxing restrictions on movement gatherings and economic activity. It comes off to official said was dramatic decline in COVID-19 cases over eight weeks now South Africa is the worst affected country on the continent having recorded over one and a half million infections and 50,000 bits, and your variant that is more easily transmitted dominated a deadly second wave in the country. Now in a national broadcast on Sunday evening, President Cyril Ramaphosa said that the country had now emerged from that second wave, and that the vaccine rollout was steadily progressing.
35:26
Adam: Once the vaccination of healthcare workers has been completed. We will begin with phase two of the vaccination rollout in late April to early May. Phase two will include the elderly, essential workers persons living or working in institutional settings, and those with comorbidities.
35:51
Unknown: Now South Africa recently signed an agreement with Johnson and Johnson to secure 11 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. The country is currently inoculating its frontline health workers, but some of them are opposed to the Johnson and Johnson vaccine because the government began administering the jab before its trial phase had concluded
36:12
two weeks into South Africa's vaccination program, and there is growing resistance. So far less than 8000 people ever found the
36:24
Adam: man
36:27
John: you know, the thing about that, though, is the South Africans pan careful enough attention say hey, we'll take the vaccine after it's been tastefully tested. Americans, we haven't even gotten to the Johnson and Johnson issues. We're just taking anything. You know, I
36:46
Adam: was talking to Willow. I called her for her birthday on another fifth. And now and she's like, Well, I think we have to take the vaccine and you know, she's, she's been a little terrorized. And they're still in orange zone, which means they're partially locked down curbside service only etc. And I said, Well, look, if you can take the vaccine, then my advice would be to take the Johnson and Johnson because you know, at least is not the mRNA and she texted me is half an hour later. Oh, Alessandro, her husband who has quite a following Aly he just got d platformed. from Facebook because he tweeted he he posted that take the Johnson and Johnson not the other ones and they laughed him right off in Italy
37:33
Unknown: Wow
37:35
John: Yeah, man they've got they got the clamps that out?
37:39
Adam: Well, it's just terrible if you really excuse for that if you read what's now coming in
37:43
John: opinion about what brand buy this is. This is a brand I think you could just illustrate a trade issue here. This is a brand decision. I might like one brand of soap I might like tide. I might like all I might like one of these other off brands Clorox for detergent. ajax. I can't say to somebody that I think I would rather buy tide I think tide liquid and by the way, tide liquid is quite good. tide liquid I want tide liquid I get deep platformed for having an opinion about a brand. It's worse what you're telling me.
38:20
Adam: It's worse. Italy blocked a shipment of the AstraZeneca Oxford vaccine which was destined for Australia and they said ah we ordered that first we're taking it this shenanigans going on man this shenanigans here. It's so obvious, then this none of this and distributed equitably equitably across all countries now, every man for himself whoever got paid the most by whichever big pharma company, don't make me laugh. And
38:55
John: I could go on more say I was I was watching the different channels. There's something new called Newsline. I think it's a new channels like news magazine is Newsline. Hmm, I think it's called Newsline. Somebody in the chat room can correct me but and there's Ashley Banfield has a show on it. It didn't clarify things. It may have some religious background to it. I'm not sure but it's extremely slick. It's so much slicker than then a Newsmax which is amateur hour right. And so I say I'm what this is looks at the well produced I said the sound is good. Everything's good. I wonder if these guys are going to last they go to commercial, drug drug drug drug, drug drug drug. And I then I after watching seven drug commercials, I said oh yeah, these guys are gonna do just fine. They'll be on the air. I gotta give me any information I can find useful, but they'll be on the air as for sure.
39:54
Adam: It was a German professor who came up with a We call it the antigen vaccine, which is kind of the old school way of taking the pus out of the smallpox. And he's being sued by the German government. Alright, you shut up you go away. And now the FDA is going after ivermectin. Oh, very dangerous. By remember yesterday
40:20
John: ivermectin thing. There was a I didn't clip it. I did. I'm gonna read a clip still just summarize. Some guy came on and went over that since that is bogus. There was one study that says ivermectin doesn't work, you might as well just take an aspirin. Yeah, but that study is bogus. It's a bogus study. And it was paid for by a bunch of drug companies that don't want ivermectin on the market.
40:46
Adam: Oh, yes. And all of that is orchestrated by one guy. And I'd like to give a little bit of exposure to this man since the M five m, only has their nose up his butthole he gets awards. He's on SNL. It's Anthony Fauci. And finally, I was lucky one of our producers found an episode of The Gary Noll show brand new as a podcast. And Gary Nall had Dr. Reiner Valmik on filmic and German American and American. Now he's one, this is interesting, because he's another one of these medical attorney guys. And he's medical attorney guys. They're still lawyers, so they really don't give a shit. In fact, it's better for them if you sue them for saying something because the lawyers like oh, yeah, that's great. They know what they're saying. And they know how to say it. And when I was listening to this interview, as Oh, okay, remember that this guy necessarily, but the institute he worked for where he was doing legal for a treatment for AIDS back in? Well, he was he was doing it much, much earlier. But I think I first heard him in the 80s. And what he when I have a couple of clips here. So you can hear the parallel, he draws between Anthony file sheets, same guy, the AIDS crisis, all of the different issues on the table, and how that connects to what's happening today. So he actually has a documentary, which I have not seen yet, that should be out. And when I find that, I'll put it in the show
42:23
Unknown: notes in the 1980s 90s pouchy controlled the World AIDS, and miserably. So I was an important part of that. In fact, this evening, we are premiering a new film from the Society for Investigative, independent investigative journalism. That shows that at two different centers in New York, there was a successful treatment for AIDS successful in the sense that a person would still be HIV positive, but completely healthy. there be no opportunistic infections or diseases. And AIDS is not a disease. AIDS is 30 different diseases that have already always existed. And but in the presence of HIV is called aids in the presence without HIV it's called pneumocystis or kaposi. sarcoma for thrush, etc.
43:18
Adam: thrush, I've heard of thrush. What's thrush? rush thrush, thr thrush,
43:24
John: thrush? Yeah. medical condition. I've heard of it. Are you gonna have to look it up on the book of knowledge? Okay,
43:29
Adam: well, I'm looking that up.
43:30
John: We'll pay heard of it. But and it's, I can't remember it all what it is.
43:37
Adam: It's not a rock band trawl room.
43:38
Unknown: I've been treating people with AIDS since 1974 10 years, were the official announcement. And I was working with the leading gay physician, Dr. Steven Kaiser, who didn't know what this was, and couldn't help him with the medications. But he knew I was doing things with alternative lifestyle. And I got them all well, over 400 people I helped get back to good health, mainly by natural non toxic means intravenous vitamin C, intravenous ozone, etc. In any case, I also had a center which was the leading holistic center in the United States, I had all board certified physicians, nurses, dieticians, psychologists, etc. For during a 15 year period, we treated 1200 people full blown aids, all sick. When they came during a 15 year period, they all remained healthy, got their health back. None died. Not a single one of these times, by the way, we never charged a single penny to a single patient, not insurance or anything. It was free.
44:44
Adam: So if you listen to the whole interview, he's very long and drawn out and he has an all his credentials are laid out. But I that's what I remember. I remember they were doing that with vitamin C. And of course, you didn't hear much about it. And that's what he explains here. As they hired you know, I don't suppose Hill and Knowlton, they hired a top PR firm. It's alright everybody press conference. They sent out 1000s of invites, and well, yeah,
45:13
Unknown: we can see legitimacy. And scientifically, we cured AIDS. We also help treat aids so that a person was healthy, though still HIV positive. Now, why is that important? Because the person who would not acknowledge this was Anthony falchi, the person who fought against any of this mate being made public, including where nobody came to a press conference where we had 100 of these individuals, with their medical doctors and their medical records and a board of scientists, one of those than one of the people on that board was David Patterson, Senator patch, some new york code later become governor Paterson. And he said, why aren't the mainstream people looking at natural non toxic methods, instead thought she was promoting azt, arguably, the most dangerous drug ever presented to a person with AIDS. And there were very few desk before azt, there was just a skyrocketing deaths. After azt, there was even a drug bactrim that would help knock out pneumocystis a former ammonia in the lungs, he wouldn't, he wouldn't advise it. And yet had he advised it because it worked. The number one cause of death in the first years of the AIDS epidemic, would have been stopped.
46:29
Adam: And that's how Fauci does it no matter what he's pushing, and it's no wonder that 1000s of journalists did not appear at his press at the press conference because they'd cured AIDS. Because that's the pharmaceutical advertising business as we just discussed, there is no way they're going to cover that kind of story to let's
46:47
Unknown: wrap it all up. You can have 7000 journalists, including New York Times, Washington Post etc. not show up not even comment that they were invited on three occasions by one of the top PR firms in America that we hired to do this when less there's a concerted campaign to censor this and not allow that door to be open to show Oh gee whiz, they're hearing also a history people days are getting them healthy and no one's died. And that's when they jumped in so we you know, then you must be nice tonight is no I'm the only person in the world is cured AIDS. And I have the scientific validation. By the way, that's the documentary independently done. Now look, today, we have necessary drugs that are non toxic, or more less toxic than aspirin, including ivermectin over 40. Scientific peer review studies show it works. We have a hydroxychloroquine was Lincoln's is from Aizen. It works. And we have over 220 of those studies. We have physicians who are mainstream pro vaccine, they they're not. They're orthodox, as orthodox can be outstanding reputations, MD PhDs, head of epidemiology, one of the divisions of Yale, all of them are being attacked. None of their suggestions are being taken. They're actually making it impossible in some countries like South Africa to get ivermectin which has been used there for decades to fight parasitic infections. Same is true for hydroxychloroquine you can't get hydroxychloroquine in most states in America. That's an option the CDC.
48:27
Adam: There you go. It's parallel. It's exactly the same process, discredit everything. Listen to me, I am Pope Fauci is disgusting.
48:44
John: This all began when they allowed advertising of the drug companies to advertise on television in the media.
48:50
Adam: That would be the simplest fix to a lot of this. Maybe the genies out of the bottle, but
48:57
John: it was possible you could never get this to work with just like I said, I watched this news line nothing. Yeah. Slick, beautiful. Dynamite looks like it does the job. Yep. And AD AD AD AD AD for pharma. Big Pharma big there wasn't anything else.
49:14
Adam: It's just like TV Land. You know, before we go to bed say it's like 10 o'clock at night flip on TV Land. Maybe it's Everybody Loves Raymond, and maybe it's Two and a Half Men doesn't really matter just kind of zoning out. And any of those those sitcoms have such a wave that you'd laugh even if you didn't hear it, like why What did you say? I don't know. I was just I was going with the flow of the show. It's true though, right? There's no that comedic wave on a vo sitcom is very timed. It works incredibly well. And every commercial is pharma. And it's all stuff that you've never heard of. And we have to turn the sound down because if I said before, I'm afraid I'm gonna get it right here all this stuff day.
49:53
John: There is that element. suggestion element of the power of suggestion. That's why it's better
50:00
Adam: Hello nodig
50:01
John: suggested they have them Yes, they can. Yes, yes. Marketing. Yes.
50:05
Adam: So if you only watch the video portion, it's okay because it's always animated butterflies and everyone's happy and everything's working and we're walking through the car. People are jumping up and down. They got no more osteoporosis or psoriasis word is dyskinesia. Oh gosh, man, I
50:22
John: feel bad restless legs
50:24
Adam: with Leg Syndrome. What else we have? What's the multiple voices? That's the big one. Now,
50:32
John: I don't know. For any polar schizophrenia, schizophrenia, when they got it, when there's ads for schizophrenia, on the TV, I know that I'm watching the wrong channel.
50:45
Adam: We should play one of those schizophrenia ads again, because there's so frania I'm unbelievable. I have two separate short clips from about Fauci. I just want to lay this out, because this guy needs to be taken to task by some never going to happen. You're just you're beating a dead horse. Can
51:03
John: I suggest a clip it says you're gonna play Fauci clips? Sure. My favorite clips of Fauci who don't wear a mask is stupid to wear a mask that is my favorite. Because he's dead serious. And he later says, Oh, well, you know, it was at the moment, bullcrap. I can't hear his voice, he's dead serious that people are stupid. You're an idiot. If you wear a mask. Right now, in the United States, people should not be walking around with masks, you're sure of it. Because people are
51:35
Adam: listening really closely to
51:37
John: them right now, people should not be worried. There's no reason to be walking around with a mask. When you're in the middle of an outbreak. wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better. And it might even block up a droplet. But it's not providing the perfect protection that people think that it is. And often, there are unintended consequences. People keep fiddling with the mask and they keep touching their face, then can you get some schmutz and sort of staying inside there? Of course, of course, but when you think mask, you should think of healthcare providers needing them and people who are ill.
52:12
Adam: And we fast forward once again to less than one year
52:15
Unknown: later tonight, Dr. Anthony Fauci says he's concerned that a recent drop in infections nationwide, has now stalled and could start climbing again, new research from the CDC appears to back that up suggesting that in places where in person dining is allowed, the death rate from COVID goes up. At the same time, scientists at the CDC say they now have evidence that masks work, leading to fewer infections and deaths.
52:40
Adam: By the way, there's something in here that I have a problem with this bit here.
52:46
Unknown: The death rate from COVID goes up that up suggesting that in places where in person dining is allowed. So
52:53
Adam: first of all suggesting Okay, suggesting peers to back that up six years to back it up. This is good, actually. Now we deconstruct this
53:00
Unknown: new research from the CDC appears to back that up suggesting that in places where in person dining is allowed, the death rate from COVID goes
53:09
John: bullshit. Yeah,
53:10
Adam: I'm not buying that I have not heard or seen a single report about a restaurant where someone died after contracting COVID from their indoor dining experience. And so what research suggests that it appears to be like, yes,
53:25
John: please, horrible, horrible, horrible patient happy we've given you as your person again, our refer back to South Africa, where they actually look at these things as positive. They say, well, the numbers are going down. It's been eight weeks, we're gonna just pull back on all this stuff. Because it looks good. No, no, us as well, at any minute. Now it's going to jump back up, we're going to have a fourth surge.
53:48
Adam: Fourth surge. Now, what is no longer focused on is where did this come from? Was it from the lab? You know, they jumped to humans? What did a jump from a bad a pangolin? And how can you give it to gorilla and not worry about it jumping back to a pangolin? I don't know. But back in 2018, Fauci already understood the importance of these types of viruses, and was interviewed about it.
54:14
Unknown: Yeah, we've been talking about pandemics where people spread it or catch it. Do you have any concern or is any risk that this could be weaponized, that you know any Rogue Nation or rogue group what's weaponized with viruses?
54:27
Well, this certainly is a risk. And that's the reason why, back in 2001, after 911, when we had the anthrax attacks, even though that turned out to be a homegrown, homegrown terrorists that we put an extraordinary amount of money investment in developing a bio defense effort, which is very closely allied with what we do against naturally occurring microbes, but the indirect answer to your question, this certainly is a risk which we have to be prepared for At certain microbes can be weaponized.
55:02
Oh, and was he prepared? But there's, there's a part of me that wonders me. There's a lot of trust in terms of people don't go rogue. I mean, whether it's with smallpox or anthrax, I mean, the trust factor is an important element in this.
55:15
John: Well, it's it. It's more complicated than just trust, trust is important. But what we've tried to do among the receipt of
55:23
Adam: minute, what is he saying, is more important than trust what we mean, the trust factor is an important element in this?
55:31
John: Well, it's it. It's more complicated than just trust, trust is important.
55:37
Adam: What can be more complicated than trust?
55:40
John: But what we've tried to do among the researchers who are in good faith working in the field, China is to create what we call a culture of responsibility. Meaning you don't do anything reckless, you don't do an experiment that might accidentally go awry. When you do experiments with agents that could be dangerous to the community, you do it under the appropriate containment facilities. And that's the reason why we've built those around.
56:13
Adam: Han baby
56:15
John: was one of the one he's associated with that place.
56:18
Adam: Totally. He signed, he signed
56:20
John: off on it, he signed the check, and is considered one of the least secure of all the high end labs in China.
56:27
Adam: Yes, perhaps poorly.
56:31
John: So they created this thing in the lab and got out and you know, somebody walked out with it. You know, like Homer Simpson with the atomic rod on his back. Pretty much and what happened and they don't want to nobody's gonna admit it, because it's, it's careless. It looks suspicious. And I don't know that dented Chinese. This is a real flaw that Chinese system is this inability to, you know, be honest with people.
57:00
Adam: Yeah, they're so accustomed to lying generalizing here, but I think that this kind of something that we know. Yeah. Okay, a couple more things. Oh, yeah. Probably First, the French are bad, French or lame. French no good. She had lots of fear. But there's nothing really new here of Florence because the vaccine skepticism runs rather deep in France.
57:26
Unknown: It sure does. France repeatedly tops the charts. For instance, in early 2019, there was a global Gallup study on public attitudes towards science and health by and you can see here, when asked whether vaccines are safe, French people disagreed the most out of 140 countries. 33% of people in France disagree that vaccines are safe.
57:50
Adam: But did you notice the emphasis I thought it was almost Ender show worthy
57:54
Unknown: 33% of people
57:56
Adam: 3% a fever 33% of people. Test Testing, testing, testing 123 not without its risks. Who knew that this could happen and so close to home
58:09
Unknown: new tonight a woman says a routine COVID nasal swab test has led to excruciating pain and the need for surgery to repair the damage this after Shari Tim went to have a routine COVID test. She was in need of our heart diagnostic tests and protocol states. She had to test negative for COVID before they could run any test.
58:29
Adam: I might as well say trigger warning because it triggered me
58:32
Unknown: he says the swab was inserted in her nose. She instantly felt pain
58:36
staggered from the back of my head just extended to the front of my head and just my entire brain was in extreme pain instantly as well. There was fluid just leaking on my nose
58:47
Jory was leaking spinal fluid and neurologists for Methodist and throat doctor diagnosed her with numerous cephalus days later. This is when there has been a rupture in the dural membrane or the lining that's around the brain which allows air to enter the space that's normally occupied by the head say it's rare that happened
59:07
patients are
59:11
more parallel to the natural bridge of the nose is what's followed and that's what can bring that slop
59:18
much higher up and put you in rains and essentially you know
59:21
having that COVID Swan then rupture that
59:24
Fortunately, there is a procedure to fix the hole that would be a laparoscopy. While it's unlikely it'll happen to you if you feel uncomfortable when getting sweaty. Yeah, Speak up.
59:33
Adam: Speak up. I have a spinal fluid leaking out of my nose. I'd like to speak up the San Antonio
59:42
John: which brings back I'm going to bring back this thing I brought it up once before if the mouth contained so much COVID that the any cough or sneeze and sometimes you can be loaded to the gills with COVID no mouth. Why don't you test the mouth for the COVID what why is it got to be that stiff? swab. Where are you going back there for?
1:00:03
Adam: I agree. It certainly makes me not want to let someone else administer one of these tests on me. I'm like, Oh, well, I
1:00:13
John: have not been tested. I don't know.
1:00:15
Adam: Well, I haven't been tested once and but it was just in the front of the my nose. But it was a Rogen test. So who knows? vacation planned? April 6 to April 13.
1:00:26
John: Two days after my birthday.
1:00:29
Adam: Yeah. That's the beauty of it. What you're angry now I'm gone during your birthday week. Well, I
1:00:37
John: mean, it's a birthday wish always a good show.
1:00:42
Adam: I'm so tired. I know you're tired too. If we your birthday, I bought you a gift. Whoa, what's wrong?
1:00:50
John: I just dumped over a cup cup of tea.
1:00:54
Adam: Do you need a moment?
1:00:57
John: Right? Actually, I do need a
1:00:59
Adam: podcaster down. Everybody podcasts are down. Standby. Standby.
1:01:04
John: This is liquid before it falls on any electronic gear. calendar and look at this date and I knocked over this cup. Oh, well. Alright, you can keep talking.
1:01:14
Adam: Are you sure that was t?
1:01:17
John: gi I'm pretty sure
1:01:18
Adam: I'm sure it wasn't something else. Maybe it's tiny stains. Maybe it's time for a refreshing break.
1:01:26
John: If it was time for the refreshing break, you would you would hear this.
1:01:33
Adam: That's right, ladies and gentlemen. That's right. Everybody is the drink of champions in the podcast space. It is perhaps Blue Ribbon. I'd like to say in the morning to you. And thank you for your courage, john c, where the C stands for COVID psychosis devora back.
1:02:11
John: Ella in the morning to you Mr. Adam Curry also in the morning to the ships at sea where somebody's been steady. Stop saying that. Yeah,
1:02:18
Adam: it's important.
1:02:19
John: I don't think we have any more subs in the watershed.
1:02:22
Adam: I know for a fact we have subs in the water. We have lots of submariners. Lots of them. Lots of them

John: by Navy men
1:02:31
Adam: yes in the morning to the trolls and the troll room at no agenda stream calm trolls hands up it is a Sunday let's see how you did Are you here whoo 2193 not bad seven off the high seven off the high almost a th day. Good to see you there trolls see couple in the Navy. Yeah. Oh, they say that would prefer to be known as Seaman got it. Troll the troll room? Is it no agenda stream.com lots of people in there today hanging out trolling away which is the entire point handoff one liner sometimes they work usually people just sit there and troll say horrible things get me aggravated, but that's what's so cool about it. And you can listen to the show live any of our shows that are live on the 24 hour day stream and you can always in in concert with your fellow trolls have a good time. No matter what podcast is playing it's all talk no commercials. And while you're there ask for an invite we have just a few left for no agenda social calm as we will just have to open up the Federation part we're going to lock down our instance at 10,000 ask for ninja invites you can check out our non algo wised federated social network it's very calm on the nerves. You go there Oh, I've already read this message. That's it you're done. Go scroll back to the top and leave there won't be anything for a while. No agenda social.com and in the morning to our artists for Episode 1326 this was an interesting random slash magic number episode one three to six we had a donation special running
1:04:11
for the three 321 which was the day before which was all threes. The show when posted and I did not even know this until I was alerted to the fact total runtime of this episode. Three hours and 33 minutes on the dot that you tell me how that works. When a number very random magic and Darren O'Neill brought us the artwork he yes it was very nice Darren we'd commissioned him since no agenda our generator calm was down which I see is back up today. JOHN, do you want to give us an update on on Sir Paul couture and how you tracked him down? He was in the wind what happened there or did it just magically come back?
1:04:56
John: He magically came back Oh,
1:04:58
Adam: okay. So does no good Yeah,
1:05:01
John: I couldn't get it come away. Yeah, there's a couple of good stories, but I don't there's not they're not verified. So okay.
1:05:08
Adam: I bet there was that there was good stories. So there's not that much to bitch and moan about other than just thank him for the excellent work. See what was? Oh yeah, this was the the 33 we titled The show freedom bracelet. It was the 33 fudged numbers, which was it perfect, perfect. No agenda, piece of art. And as many likely fellow artists noticed that too much to their chagrin. Once again, it was the red background that did it.
1:05:48
John: Hmm, no,
1:05:49
Adam: I don't think so either.
1:05:52
John: Technically speaking, the best background for art or anything if you want to really get attention as yellow is so it's been studied Actually, we
1:06:02
Adam: had a super fudgy star that was in yellow on the so that
1:06:05
John: was the background of the yellow background for packaging. This was studied by Lotus development when they were in business before IBM bought them and they did a massive study with the aid of baby it was there wasn't Hill and Knowlton that was one of the big PR companies. And they determine people should it's been publicized, but people still don't pay attention to it. That your best box if you're going to sell boxes software nowadays, nobody does that right in the day. You want a V big yellow box with big black lettering. Just that simple.
1:06:41
Adam: And how does that measure up against Apple with their black and white lettering?
1:06:47
John: It will outperform on a on a blind if he was on the exact same product in those different packaging, the yellow would outperform, outperform it and people are attracted to that particular combination for saying
1:07:00
Adam: I was talking with producer jack, who was working on the NF T for the no agenda show. And by now I'm sure you've heard this NFT everywhere john, you can't avoid it is out of control. And I had dinner last night with a top Hollywood executive who happens to live in Austin. And his company is doing it too. And this is millions and millions of dollars. And so jack has said Look, I I've set it up, you know you guys can do this with with show art. And he's already set up one example. And I thought by myself so I've been looking into this. This is this is beware as we thought Bitcoin was Beanie Babies, this NFT stuff. It's truly the analog eight is the beanie babies of cryptocurrency. And it's very scammy. And my after some research, my initial thought was we really want nothing to do with this. And then I thought, Wait a minute. What if all of the producers What if we all got in on the scam? Because you can program who gets what when you sell it? And we drive this thing up like crazy and sell it all to some suckers? who think that this thing is hot, even though it's really just a complete pump and dump by the no agenda nation? Yeah, it's like collusion full on insider trading. I
1:08:24
John: mean, can we do this called conspiracy to commit a felony,
1:08:28
Adam: it's not a felony. But he mean,
1:08:31
John: it will be.
1:08:34
Adam: We can get it under the wire. If we do it now. You're okay, so we've got to work it out a little bit. But in essence, we just have to get people buying and selling this and tapping it up a little bit every single time. And until, until some sucker comes in. And you have to have trust in the group, right? You have to have trust that if you if someone buys something for 500 bucks, that there will be someone there who's going to buy it for five or one because that person will know. So we all have to have some kind of code so we can identify fellow travelers. And the minute you're above let's say $10,000 selling you're starting the Communist Party. I'm sorry, I'm exit strategy. I need a vacation.
1:09:23
Unknown: Yeah,
1:09:24
Adam: no agenda generator.com for all your NF t joy. And thank you to all the artists who have already started piling and I can't wait to see what we can choose for artwork after today for Episode 1327. I'm a 30 year old millennial in the college town of Blacksburg, Blacksburg, Virginia, home of Dr. Lindsay Mar, a Virginia Tech, who told a local news station Well, why to face masks are better than one. What a bunch of crap. I would like to request the jingles list he he's he also did a little emoticon sitting just in front of you what a bunch of crap. He's got two positions reversed. This is basically two eyeballs with throat throat. Oh, you
1:16:13
Adam: know, interesting. You see that? Because we so what we're seeing here is a colon and then a parentheses close. Now No, no, no, that's what less that's what we would normally see. But, but he has it reversed and has the parentheses closed followed by the colon. I've seen millennial millennials do this. This is this is something that comes with the the generation. Really? Yeah, I've seen it. I've seen it several times.
1:16:43
John: And I'm not what's disclosed to me.
1:16:45
Adam: I don't know. But it's the same. You see the same thing with millennials putting the dollar sign behind the number instead of in front. Have you seen that? Have you seen that interesting? Oh, that's that's rad is
1:16:58
John: that it was a typo since this this note is filled with typos. No, no. Oh, well, it looks like a furrowed brow. I would like to request the jingles listed in order from left to right at the top of this letter.

Western Governors University wg use an excellent online school and yes, it is online all the time and not just during the plan demick for anyone wanting to pursue a college degree for a very affordable cost than just about every item check out their their credit activations, if you don't mind. But assume that you're you've done that. For anyone wanting to pursue a college degree for a very affordable cost than just about every other college I would recommend WG you they charge a flat rate per term around 30 $500 or the cheap. This is an excellent deal and you can take as many classes as you want. Well, that's cool in each turn without an increase in tuition to college wg EU has provided me value for my education in computer science just as the no agenda shows provided me value in many ways, especially shrinking my amygdala. Hope this helps anyone listening out there who may be deciding on going to college. It is much much better value than other universities. I want to shout out to my little brother Luke. Hey Luke, please add me to the birthday list we got john and I'm pretty sure thank you for your courage. John: shut up in science and heavenly farts if you have it. Thanks in advance. Hey guys, keep me anonymous. I am a curious nurse and love research. The story of Colorado bad Chad's 30 year old friend getting Type One Diabetes picked piqued my intrigue. The current school of thought is T one dm Type One Diabetes mellitus is an autoimmune disease triggered by a viral insult. The most likely
1:24:37
Adam: viral insult,
1:24:39
John: placement of vibration and douchebag. Hey, you had a viral insult and your mother. Most likely culprit appears to be a type of intero virus which are the same types as SARS Cove to most have heard that the vaccine is RNA Viruses are essentially little pieces of RNA DNA in a problem protein envelope. These little fellows and Kiro viruses can also cause viral encephalitis and severe symptoms. And they end to severe symptoms are confusion, Speech and Hearing difficulty with the loss of sensation and seizures, which could fit Chad's complaints. I'm not saying the vaccine did it, but you can form your own hypothesis and yeah, boots on the ground report no mask mandate in my state for about three weeks now in the COVID cases take up only six beds out of 200 and our hospital now allows visitors in anyways, keep up the great work gents. Love to you all. nurses and EMT love to all the nurses and Ms is out there thanks to PubMed National Library of Medicine articles, viral infections, as potential triggers of Oh is where she got it from, of Type One Diabetes PubMed nih.gov. And she does a bunch of citations, which I'm not going to read because nobody's going to just go look that up. You know, she goes, I'm sorry, go on. Sorry.
1:26:18
Adam: Well, I was gonna say she used the anyways. And I was alerted to a post by Merriam Webster. That anyways, is in facts. proper use of the word. Anyways, is proper. It is correct. You can use this. Yeah, that's annoying.
1:26:39
John: I think so. And then people add a Z to identify the Okay, who is Merriam Webster they go along with anything. Two people used it in South Carolina. I'm going for it. I like to see what let's
1:26:50
Adam: say this is our plan. We're going to get it to Z and we'll make an NF T of any waismann with a Z.
1:26:57
John: Minus we'll make it a z. It sounds the same as
1:26:59
Adam: the same. Yeah, I like it. Okay, as your jingles. What did she have here?
1:27:05
John: She had de-douche and shut up at science and heavenly farts. And the karma, I guess so

1:28:09
Adam: You know,
1:28:12
John: you're you're wrong.
1:28:13
Adam: No, in fact, he's correct because the proper use is with a Z or for you British a Zed Zed anyways,
1:28:21
John: I just got myself from using it. Well, you can you can go back to it, but
1:28:25
Adam: you use the Zed. Zed, Zed. If you say that to someone excuse me, you spell that with a Zed? There'll be so confused that they'll just believe they will. Oh, he's an Anglophile what Zed okay.

Adam: a thank you again for your time, your talents and your treasure and our value for value podcast experiment. Our formula is this. We go out, we hit people in the mouth.
1:31:07
Just like to finish off this vaccine thing with the final final clip. Which is from Tech meme, the tech meme podcast. So this is going to be one of these Jacks jack podcast where everything's cool and exciting and great features and gorilla
1:31:27
John: unboxing I bet.
1:31:30
Adam: Gorilla Glass unboxing What else do we have? Hands on first time? Oh, yeah. Integration really cool features. And we already discussed that the vaccine passport should be verboten until we have something that is officially approved by the Federal federal Federal Drug Administration Food and Drug Administration. Until then, it should not happen but it can't go fast enough for these techno boys. Listen how cool it's gonna be. And Mike Murphy at protocol takes
1:32:06
Unknown: a look at the race to build vaccine passports. If the prognosticators are right and at least here in the US the supply ramp up is going so well that hopefully every adult that wants a vaccine can get one by June the next question will become well, summer vacations. How can you prove that you have a vaccine in order to get on a plane or go to a concert or do whatever? Should it be a piece of paper that app on your phone QR codes maybe something on the blockchain? Mike looks at all these possible solutions. Quote, it's entirely possible that as more people start to get vaccinated vaccine passports start to become the norm. You walk to work still masked, of course, scan a QR code reader in the lobby and are let in. You go out for lunch and your loyalty card app has a discount for in store shoppers verifying their vaccinated. Your concert ticket is also tied to health pass information that you shared earlier in the day with Ticketmaster. But there are more than a few hurdles ahead of the companies rushing to turn these concepts into realities and quote, something I learned from this piece is that places like Hawaii are considering requiring visitors from the mainland to have some form of vaccination passport. So keep that in mind when considering your summer plans. Yes, it's
1:33:18
Adam: gonna be so great. It's going to integrate with my loyalty points. It's going to be green so that I get rewards and I will have to lock down less days in the future because I was a good doobie I was a green doobie that's where it's going. That's what this thing is going to be used for green passport reject the green passport Rgp
1:33:39
John: I can't believe these guys are giddy about this.
1:33:43
Adam: Yeah. Oh, the jacks are so cool. Yeah. That papery refers to I put it in, in the show notes to see interesting to talking about how to how this is all going to integrate and the kicker is the funniest thing and it we can't bring it up often enough. One of the driving forces now behind the back end of what is supposed to be the definitive vaccine passport is none other than the people tracking company themselves. I be m and for those of you who are not familiar with the history, IBM builds machines and punched cards specifically in World War Two for the Nazi Party to track Jews. And in fact, isn't a friend of yours who did the who wrote the book on it or did the documentary. Yeah, the big book. Yeah. What's his name again?
1:34:33
John: At black and black.
1:34:36
Adam: Yeah, and no one brings this up. except us.
1:34:42
John: Yeah, of course they don't. They used to. We used to be brought up a lot. I mean, I used to write for Ed black. He used to run it always to magazines, nomos little things. I should be. I don't even have it on my bio. I probably should put it on there. Yeah, but yeah, good guy.
1:34:58
Adam: Is he still alive?
1:35:00
John: Believe so he gives, he keeps doing the same kind of. He does a lot of deep dives into things that are like,
1:35:07
Adam: he pops up every 10 years that book.
1:35:09
John: Yeah, cuz he's one of those guys who, instead of having to CIA write his books for him, yes.
1:35:15
Adam: Which is one way to go.
1:35:16
John: You could do that and be a lot more productive. You can be very productive. You can do a book a year that way. Yeah. But he says he doesn't have the CIA writing his books for him. His books come out once every five or six years because he actually has to write the damn thing.
1:35:29
Adam: What else is he done? Then? What other?
1:35:32
John: Oh, I you know, I done a half dozen books that are really outstanding. I don't have the titles at the top of my head. And he hasn't sent me an autographed copy of any of them so Oh, well, he's off
1:35:40
Adam: the list. He says seven.
1:35:43
John: track him down and get get copies. Okay, good. Good. Good.
1:35:49
Unknown: That this I think it's I think it's time for a little Joe Biden. It's Sunday. It's Sunday. Me is biting it is. Or do I have a jingle for Joe? Yeah, here we go. This is
1:36:01
creepy.
1:36:04
It's really creepy young man.
1:36:13
Physical mental football as well as my mental skill. Line dogface pony shows it.
1:36:18
Adam: Here we go. There's a jingle set
1:36:22
John: up. Could be worked on the first of all, we do have the same old same old the Joe he has his these. Let's play this clip Biden empty chairs bring the dead
1:36:34
Adam: grandma again
1:36:35
Unknown: for a man for over a year. The American people were told they were on their own.
1:36:40
They were seen. We've seen how hard that has been on so many Americans. As of last night 519,064 lives lost to the virus. That many empty chairs this morning. the breakfast table?
1:37:02
Adam: How many? How many chairs are in this breakfast room?
1:37:07
Unknown: A lot.
1:37:08
Wow.
1:37:09
You know,
1:37:10
Adam: I I this to me, is when when President Trump said bullshit or other things that people just just a gas that their children had heard this. This, what President Biden is doing cats, you know, there are children who are so afraid that if they do something wrong, if their mass slips off their nose, that Grandma will die, or maybe even their parents, this report after report you can find about this. This really it makes me mad.
1:37:45
John: But there was a little thing he added. At the very end of that he goes on to say something else. This is the empty chairs 400. And this one, you know if this was the Washington Post, it was Trump all lies lies. He's so wrong. But listen to this and tell me where you think the mistake is being made here.
1:38:04
Unknown: God for the 400 small businesses closed unnecessarily. Millions of people out of work through no fault of their own. I want to emphasize that through no fault of their own.
1:38:17
Adam: Wow, 400 businesses was that worldwide or
1:38:20
John: 400? businesses? Yes. shuttered.
1:38:23
Adam: Does anyone correct him? At least? No,
1:38:27
John: no, I'm the only one that seems to me, that digs any of this stuff up and says something about it. He said 400 businesses have shut down. I should make my own list.
1:38:40
Adam: Now I got it. We have to talk about something because now the media is real. I mean, they're not even correcting them. I'm saying the president of course met you know, something else for it that whatever he meant, comma, Vice President Harris is always pretty nearby. And I think I don't think Joe is going to make it till the end of summer. They're going
1:39:04
John: to put that in the book now. I I have I have not done this yet. But I see Joe up there. There's a number of cases where she's standing to hit to his right behind him wearing all black and a face mask with her black hair. She looks like a terrorist. Yes,
1:39:22
Adam: hammer and sickle. She'd know
1:39:24
John: she looks like I'll kinda so I'm gonna take a Photoshop in the al Qaeda flag. No, I'm sorry. ISIS, ISIS, the ISIS flag behind the two of them.
1:39:36
Adam: Just like ISIS mean can you put a key photoshopping just a random person an orange jumpsuit? Yeah. I'm fire.
1:39:48
John: I don't want to overdo it.
1:39:50
Adam: Okay. Well, it's just a suggestion, artistic creativity, you know,
1:39:55
John: job. So the 400 you know, nobody says anything about that, too. Let's listen to a couple Both sentences here.
1:40:01
Adam: Oh, he did sentences.
1:40:03
John: Yeah, he actually this was kind of confused. He corrected himself. So I'm not going to give him too much grief on this one. Then the last one I had is the second to the last. This is the Biden three kids clip.
1:40:17
Unknown: For typical middle class family of four husband and wife working making $100,000 a year total. with three kids will get 50 $600 with two kids, we get 50 $600. And they'll be on the way soon.
1:40:31
Adam: You get five or four two, but it'll help us coming. Here. He starts off by a family of four with three kids. That's what he said.
1:40:46
Unknown: But again, for typical middle class family of four husband and wife working making $100,000 a year total. with three kids. That's five that's not a family of
1:40:56
Adam: four that's five Joe
1:40:57
Unknown: get 50 $600 with two kids. We got 50 $600 they currently on the way soon.
1:41:04
Adam: Yeah, nice soon he but he always corrects it down the road, which is interesting. There's got to be some mechanism either in his brain, which is the most likely brain that in his brain. Oh, yeah. Um, uh, we sadly we just had that again with the actress who I, Hilary Swank. I'm not going to forget her now. So there is no, there is just age stuff going ruins
1:41:29
John: the bit if you remember her name.
1:41:33
Adam: That's right, man. It's a bit. Yeah, sure. Okay, it's a bit.
1:41:39
Unknown: Yeah.
1:41:40
Adam: Good set, john. Good set.
1:41:44
John: Again, this is the one that just this is the real eyeroll. I just got a big kick out of this. Okay. This is the WTF clip.
1:41:53
Unknown: The vast majority of economists left, right and center, from Wall Street to the private and private
1:42:03
economic
1:42:06
Adam: initiatives. That was the doozy of all doozies. I'd say bend over you deserve this one. Wow, he couldn't even say private equity.
1:42:22
John: He said pulling
1:42:23
Adam: initiatives.
1:42:26
Unknown: Repeat, repeat the vast majority of economists left, right and center, from Wall Street, Wall Street to the private.
1:42:34
Adam: You know, when he says from Wall Street, to me, the next sentence would be to shining sea. And that's almost what it sounds like the vast
1:42:43
Unknown: majority of economists left right and center, from Wall Street to shining sea
1:42:49
to private and private, private
1:42:53
economic economic
1:42:55
Adam: initiatives to private economic polling initiatives, the peppi
1:43:00
John: as some sort of economist and private economic polling initially Well,
1:43:04
Adam: before before we lost the old man, let's just look it out. We could be dumb, private polling. Wait, polling,
1:43:13
John: private. Was it private economic, economic, or was it economic economic polling initiative?
1:43:20
Adam: We need to understand what the President is saying that mainstream media is not helping
1:43:23
Unknown: us drive private
1:43:27
economic policy initiatives. Okay.
1:43:31
Adam: Private economic polling in Nish. In it she? You know, it's probably your thing. We're probably just at its
1:43:40
John: it could be but I don't think so.
1:43:44
Adam: Business and Economics polling initiative. That's Florida Atlantic University. That doesn't seem very know this. No. No, only thing that pops up is the is the transcript of the President's number one hit his remarks by President Biden on senate passage. Wow, he made something up completely. We should just we should just start that organization. Yes, we're endorsed by President Yeah, what would it do? That's what I like to charge money to give us your money the right way to write newsletters. Come on, john, you know how we do this. But give us not a bad idea. Because we can do polling.
1:44:34
John: Biden's already right is already give bust us
1:44:38
Adam: private economic polling initiatives. Yes. Hi, I'm Adam Curry. I'm a co founder of the private economic polling initiatives and we've done a poll. And we do that in in a very sophisticated manner in what we call the color room. We have a special system trial room, and we just ask our trolls what they want. This is good, man. This is good. Camila on deck. She's on deck. She's dressed like a ninja more than a terrorist. And she'll just be there all of a sudden she's already taken call. She's calling BB. Baby these camera. Yeah, cuz Joe was not available HK co Do you think that's what it is? Hey baby gotta be a baby just kh
1:45:27
John: out okay. Ah. So So Biden doesn't do the press conferences yet and so I'm still not done one but suck is there she's doing it as she gets a little a little a little miffed about this particular one, this question that comes out of the blue. This is Jen Psaki on immigration and Trump.
1:45:50
Unknown: A lot of Americans are saying that the surges are happening under President Biden's watch after he reversed some previous policies. So does the administration take any accountability for what's happening?
1:46:04
Who are the Americans? Well, I know you don't want our answer to him. But the former president just released a statement saying that the Biden administration was act immediately to end the border nightmare that they have unleashed on
1:46:18
President Trump.
1:46:19
Yes,
1:46:20
we don't take our advice or counsel from former President Trump on immigration policy, which was not only inhumane, but in effective over the last four years, we're going to chart our own path forward. And that includes treating children with humanity and respect and train their safe on that cross our borders, children
1:46:37
Adam: 1718 1921 year old men, children. Yeah, yeah.
1:46:45
John: Now she's got to Misaki once again, I love We love hearing about you. Here sockies whoops, mix up. It's addressing
1:46:54
Unknown: the threat of climate, whether it is economic partnership and relationships. And we'll continue to do that. We also have conversations about access to COVID access to vaccines. And you got one.
1:47:11
I got one nice, well,
1:47:13
Adam: hold on a second, I got to re label this one. So this is all that I know that it's part of the of the megamix.
1:47:20
John: You know, I don't know what your labels were, I would have used it.
1:47:22
Adam: Oh COVID gaff? Is that some COVID? gas? Yes. It's literally that simple.
1:47:31
John: And then there's this other one, which just became a different story, which I did. I did some research on. This is interesting to me. This is about them. This is the question I was asked about the this is the most recent press conference, by the way. This was asked about the Microsoft breach the big x Oh, yeah, the Exchange Server.
1:47:49
Adam: Yeah,
1:47:50
John: it was a big deal. Something happened 30,000 Exchange servers, at least minimum acquainted to real experts. Or
1:47:57
Adam: I guess we should just say that Microsoft is a big government supplier to governments all around the world. The exchange server is in many ways the the living breathing heart of an organization, particularly when you're using Microsoft products, because everything ties into the Exchange Server. And you go like that.
1:48:20
John: And yeah, because I can't find my sheet that's got my cribs notes on the ball keeps on it on this
1:48:26
Adam: problem. You go look, and I keep talking.
1:48:28
John: So it's gonna keep talking as much as you can. Oh, never mind. Why should I? Oh,
1:48:34
Unknown: come on.
1:48:35
Adam: Let me get some info out there.
1:48:37
John: I found
1:48:38
Adam: everything's tied into Exchange Server teams, the meetings, the calendaring, all of this stuff all messaging, you ask any dude named Ben? Hey, how much fun? Did you have configuring Exchange Server? And you'll find out how much fun they have doing it. It is it is daunting. But if that gets compromised. I mean, it's just imagine what you can really get on email. And you know, for some reason, Microsoft I don't think builds in encryption automatically. Why would they do that? As a government contractor, so what do we have here? Yeah,
1:49:21
John: Microsoft attributed the Exchange Server hacking operation to Chinese state sponsored actors they dubbed hafnium pasandgi. researchers who spoke to Brian Krebs claimed as many as 100,000 servers may have been breached more than 100 1000s a little more than 30. Wow. Hammond noted the breaches appeared to be so untargeted I guess it was just a shotgun effect, a worm that several servers appeared to be to host more than one version of it. In other words, they've gotten multiple versions of this problem as a web shell. You mean very called that variants called that China chopper? Yeah.
1:50:01
Adam: Nice.
1:50:03
John: Now the reason I mentioned this is because yeah, we know Why?
1:50:08
Adam: Well, because it's
1:50:09
John: no actually you don't Yeah, I do.
1:50:12
Adam: Go ahead.
1:50:14
John: The reason I mentioned this is because here's a question that sockies asked about it. And I only played, I only have 52 seconds of this clip, but I can assure you that the entire discussion which didn't go that long, maybe three minutes. She never once mentioned China, she refused to mention China. Exactly. Technology. You had a statement out from Jake Sullivan last night.
1:50:37
Adam: Microsoft related breach that affected government, computers, departments, agencies, and any more detail.
1:50:47
Unknown: Sure, sure. This isn't and for anyone who didn't see National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan's tweet last night, he spoke to the Microsoft breach that's been reported. But this is significant vulnerability that could have far reaching impacts. First and foremost, this is an active threat. And as the National Security Adviser tweeted last night, everyone running these servers, government, private sector, academia needs to act now to patch them. We are concerned that there are large number of victims and are working with our partners to understand the scope of this. So it's an ongoing process, Trevor, I
1:51:23
would say.
1:51:24
Adam: Okay, so why not pin it on Russia? What Why aren't they doing the Russia thing?
1:51:30
John: It's too late.
1:51:31
Adam: They didn't have this one under control. This one's real. Microsoft
1:51:34
John: already said it was China. They blew it. Yeah,
1:51:36
Adam: yeah.
1:51:38
John: And bite administration. They won't even mention China in any negative sense.
1:51:44
Adam: Well, I feel that, you know, you should treat this virus as any other viral insult.
1:51:52
Unknown: And
1:51:53
Adam: they should talk about variants, not versions variants. And they should, it should be racist to say that the Chinese virus, China chopper super racist chopper, but it's a great show title. We all know that. Feels good. It feels good shot feels real good there.
1:52:12
John: Yeah. Jen, although, you know, I'm still kind of lean toward Bo Joe, the jabber.
1:52:20
Adam: It's short enough. I want to do a little fake news. There's something I can prove is fake fake news. Just to show you how bad journalism is. What's the this it has a name when you read something in the newspaper that you are an expert at? Or you know, it's about you. And it's wrong. And therefore, you can never take any new story. Seriously, again, isn't that a term for that?
1:52:50
John: Yeah, it's called. I won't be fooled again. Okay.
1:52:55
Adam: The Minnesota Post wrote a very long and glowing story about in their business section, the rise and fall of the gopher protocol. And what Yes, why? Because it's unique. It was developed at University of Minnesota.
1:53:15
John: Okay,
1:53:15
Adam: and, and the, and now this, this is not a brand new story. But I it's went viral all of a sudden, because they go oh, watch
1:53:24
John: yours, like the viewer, the king of gopher.
1:53:26
Adam: Thank you. So this is my point. And this is a very long article, and they've got pictures and everything. And just so everyone knows. Tim berners, Lee, invented the idea of hyperlinking. And the gopher protocol was one of the first ones to really implement it at scale. And when you logged into gopher, and you type in your term log gopher and or bring up a top level list. And you could manipulate that but it was your university would have all these different places you could go to just a list. He could it was non gooey bio it was it was arrow keys or your JFK, you know, your hjkl keys. So people use their people use the arrows. So if you tab, you know, arrow down, it goes down to the right, you go to the right to whatever that link was. And I loved it. Because there was no web at the time. That was like holy shit. I'm connecting to a whole different computer seamlessly because I understood what was happening. And and so I create I registered mtv.com we've told that story a million times. And I set up a gopher server and I just had little pages of stuff and a couple of pictures and it was just kind of a fun little project. Now, let me read to you what the Minnesota post in all that now, not that they called me. They put a picture of me in there and everything is
1:54:48
John: a picture of you.
1:54:48
Adam: Yeah, I'll tell you why.
1:54:53
John: Because you're the only known user of gophers.
1:54:56
Adam: In the years that followed the future seemed obvious that now Number of gopher users expanded at orders of magnitude more than the World Wide Web. gopher developers held gatherings around the country called gopher cons and issued a gopher t shirt worn by MTV Vj Adam Curry when he announced the network's go for site.
1:55:18
Unknown: Patrick FOSS
1:55:19
Adam: complete bullshit. Minnesota post. What happened was quite the
1:55:26
John: opposite of his stop. They must have just misunderstood you after they called you and asked you about this
1:55:31
Adam: site and put my picture because there's a video on YouTube of me wearing the gopher t shirt. They took a screenshot of that, put it in the article. Well, what
1:55:39
John: did you tell them when they called?
1:55:41
Adam: Well, if they'd call they could have told him something. But now they decided that this was the story. And okay, that's what they didn't
1:55:47
John: call it all. They just did it.
1:55:49
Adam: Well. So what's insulting is a when the network launched, its IT service mtv.com excuse me, mtv.com. I registered that MTV allowed me to have it, they didn't give a shit. Because they were on AOL. They had the AOL keywords. And that was totally my own deal. And it was years later that mtv.com reverted back to them. So that's not true. There was no launch of mtv.com with gopher, and I don't want them getting that credit, because they completely were against me doing well. They let me do it. But they're like, Who gives a shit, they did not care. The most forward looking cool media company in the world, in fact, was retarded that way, too. I didn't wear the T shirt. When launching any service. I got an email from the University of Minnesota that said, you are using our software in a commercial manner. You need to pay us a $5,000 license. And I replied, dude, I'm doing this on my own. I don't have $5,000. For this. It's just I'm just having fun with some shit I'm doing on the air. We went back and forth. And they agreed in writing. If I would wear the gopher t shirt on MTV, they would waive the $5,000 fee. That's the story. Arguably much better than this piece of fluff in the Minnesota post.
1:57:13
John: That's a lot better story is a great story. And it shows what a bunch of douchebags they are. Exactly,
1:57:19
Adam: exactly. So that's why I do the show.
1:57:22
John: That's a shameful slip again, like you said, this is the Prophet the media. Yeah. They don't do a very good job of anything.
1:57:30
Adam: No, nothing. They don't care.
1:57:33
John: They don't care. They don't care. They don't care. You nailed it,
1:57:36
Adam: just like they don't care about what's going on with Texas energy. I'm just going to wager you didn't hear any reports about these $16 billion that no one can pay for here. They are the three companies are now chapter 11. And out of business there and the funniest one of them all is the company that or a company, whoever owns the most of the windmills that froze? They are in serious financial trouble. Why not because they couldn't deliver energy. Because they had promised with a futures contract. They had promised to deliver X amount of energy at x price. And so they wound up having to buy that energy to supply it. For instead of you know, 25 bucks, top dollar $9,000. This, this is falling apart these companies
1:58:28
John: is what By the way, if you want to trade futures, this is can happen to anybody.
1:58:33
Adam: Yes. And so this companies with a one $1.8 billion hole. It's a mess. And the end some of these Now, of course, there's going to be some acquisitions. And nobody
1:58:46
John: said anything. I've heard about a couple of the companies going out of business. But in a kind of a passing way I look at these companies went out of business, but we haven't heard any addition to the windmill story is dynamite.
1:58:58
Adam: And but you have to understand that this problem did not have to happen. It was purely the hedging in the market. This is too dangerous. This cannot be done in this manner. It's the Enron system. Only now it's been legalized.
1:59:14
Unknown: And
1:59:16
Adam: there is how this is only about greed. That's the oh and people died because of it. And that's the story. They don't want to tell. Eventually something will come out I'm sure.
1:59:29
John: Well, it should be some raw wrongful death suits.
1:59:32
Adam: I'm sure there will be all we're talking about energy. We mentioned earlier Bitcoin is still around 51 of the 51,050 50,500. You can you can bet on it going up when you see $1.9 trillion being approved by the Senate. So it starts to quietly walk up as some would say and the minute the house wreck And sales that then I think you'll see another increase. That's just the Bitcoin economics of money printer Gober, and the BBC has been drafted to, you know, combat this scourge, the scourge known as Bitcoin. And they've got a traditional angle, which is being played a lot these days, as the price of bitcoin rises, more miners want to get in on the game. But when that happens, the system is designed to make the number harder to guess. So computing effort increases. Bitcoin miners are currently reckoned to be making 150 quintillion calculations a second, that is a billion billion. So if you're wondering what that sound is,
2:00:45
Unknown: well, you'd need to ramp that up to more than 340 beats per second.
2:00:54
And then play it every second that since the universe formed 13 point 8 billion years ago to reach 150 quintillion. And that is how many calculations all those miners are doing in one second. Unsurprisingly, that uses a lot of electricity and two thirds of the energy used is reckoned to be created from polluting fossil fuels. So what does it energy consumption? Tell us about bitcoins future Alex device is the founder of the Digi economy website and has been a website founder last few years
2:01:30
of Bitcoin were to be adopted as a global reserve currency, those miners will have more money than the entire US federal budget to spend on electricity, we'd have to double our global energy production. For Bitcoin.
2:01:45
A good currency should be an effective means of exchange and a stable store of value, says Kenneth Rogoff, professor of economics at Harvard University, and a former chief economist at the International Monetary Fund. He argues Bitcoin fails on both counts,
2:02:02
yes, one rich person sells it to another. But that's not a final use. And without that, it really doesn't have a long term future.
2:02:14
Adam: Lesson. So many people are always asking me about Bitcoin, let me just give you two quick notes about this particular anti Bitcoin statement, which is, it uses too much energy. And there's a million different ways you can talk about what uses too much energy etc. but interesting to note is that most mining is now actually being presented as very environmentally friendly, because they're going off grid, they're going to the taking containers filled with machines, it's all modular, they go to the gas drilling sites, and the methane that they would otherwise burn off because it's, it's, it's not profitable to send that that methane, which I think is really high, you would know better than I do, john, really high quality or whatever, it burns like crazy. They would flare that off. And so now that they're not, instead of flaring it off, they're using that to mine Bitcoin. And so that's changing, but I had to, I would like to go with this. And I think we should look at everything in our green economy. We should look at everything this way. How much electricity does it cost to do that, and you can shame people on that. And I think if you are a podcaster, and you are worried about how much electricity is being wasted, you need to make shorter podcasts more much, much shorter. All podcasts for green energy should be no longer than 15 minutes. Really.
2:03:44
John: You have a green podcast, it's it should have a label we should say.
2:03:47
Adam: exit strategy. Yeah. Oh my god. Green Green podcast. No, no, no word green podcast seal of approval podcast. podcast green podcast certified now has to be something better than that. Come on.
2:04:04
John: wouldn't be doing take his word a few minutes to dream something up. That would work. And you being the inventor of the process. Yeah. And the promoter of podcasting. 2.0 you're in a perfect position to be part of this.
2:04:17
Adam: Yes. What is LEED stands for? LEED is the certification right? What LEED l e d that's the that's the certification for buildings leadership and Energy and Environmental Design LEED, that they have the certification. So maybe we should just make it pee peed Aygo?
2:04:38
John: No, that's exactly p
2:04:40
Adam: Ed. Your podcast is peed certified.
2:04:44
John: Nice. Yeah.
2:04:48
Unknown: We logo.
2:04:50
Adam: It needs to look like the LEED logo or it'll just say no, it needs
2:04:53
John: to look. That little kindess on the back of vans or something or like the little your logo right. There was just license that
2:05:01
Adam: you too can have an official pisspot I mean, it just keeps writing itself john. Okay, potential exit strategy Ladies and gentlemen, we're doing really good this show. And I need one because the other day at breakfast, the keeper, my lovely wife, Brighton and we haven't even started my coffee. And she says, you know, we should do some axe throwing and that was a little startling to me.
2:05:34
John: She goes throwing an axe
2:05:35
Adam: I don't know, but who comes up with a some
2:05:37
John: skill to do it right.
2:05:39
Adam: Through axes. Mike, do you still love me? understand what's going on is rahmati
2:05:45
John: Jagger.
2:05:47
Adam: Oh, okay.
2:05:48
John: And got that out of the way. Nice. Oh, one more. Before I do want to play these. And I'm going to mention something that you bitched about my Cuomo clips.
2:06:01
Adam: No, I'm sorry. I did not intend to bitch.
2:06:04
John: You. But your complaint was not unusual. It was the all this is a distraction is the destroy Yes. What the right wingers are all saying
2:06:12
Adam: Yeah, well, I'm clearly a Republican.
2:06:15
John: One know that right winger said the Republicans. I don't know what they said. But the they say this, and I'm going to push back on that because the reason for doing this, we're going after him on this sex thing to get him to quit is if you don't get him out of this office, he's gonna be hard to because he's still got the controls. He says hands are still under control a hard time and dieting him. Do you I'm not getting that out of the office and then you can go after him for murder.
2:06:46
Adam: You got it. Okay. Do you think that's the strategy?
2:06:50
John: It has to be kaput? So I have two more clips. Part of this. And this is the indices interview with this first accuser. And this is done with Nora. Nora. Is not that great. But you can see, for one thing, you do see that this woman is sincere. You know, this is what happened. You know, the guy's a douchebag. And he's just you know, it this is not he's got to quit, but let's play these two clips.
2:07:21
Unknown: And turning now to our exclusive interview with Governor Andrew Cuomo. His former assistant Charlotte Bennett says New York's governor sexually harassed her that he was trying to sleep with her. And tonight Bennett tell cbs news, who she reported her claims to and what happened next. I was nervous. I was emotional days after Bennett says Governor Cuomo harassed her. She reported it to his chief of staff saying she no longer wanted to work directly for him. What happened during that meeting? I sat down and pretty quickly. just said, I love working here. I love you guys. But the governor crossed a line with me last week, and she asked me what I was referring to. And I said he said he was lonely. He said he wanted a girlfriend. He asked me if I had slept with older men. He said he was willing to sweep sleep with younger women. And at that point, that was enough for her. And she was just like, what can we do here? Two days later, she says she was transferred to a new job. It felt to me like if I got a new job, we didn't have to investigate this. And I really did not want it to be investigated. I was terrified. You were happy with the deal? Yeah. But after the meeting, Bennett texted her mom saying she felt quote, happy and relieved and sad. He shouldn't have robbed this experience or this path from me. Then on June 30, Bennett was called into another meeting, this time with the governor's chief of staff and general counsel. It was a long and thorough
2:08:49
conversation. What was the reaction? At first they apologized. They said it was inappropriate. When I asked them if they could let it go. Saying I don't want this to be investigated. Please drop this, you know, because I was scared. She said you came to us before anything serious happened. It was just grooming and it was not yet considered sexual harassment. So for that we do not need to investigate. Deborah Katz represents Bennett in New York State's independent investigation
2:09:21
when she said I am terrified. I don't want you to investigate. What they should have said is we have a legal duty to investigate
2:09:29
Adam: what a mess.
2:09:32
John: But it's getting better what there's a third party that came out to with something but it's less. It's a little more minor, but I think they'll find somebody else. That guy's a douchebag. But let's go part two. Let's honor all the women who have suffered
2:09:46
Unknown: in 2019 the governor signed into law and amendment making it easier to prove sexual harassment. The law he signed himself makes clear that sexual harassment includes creating conditions that make someone feel
2:09:59
unsafe Because you're sexually propositioning them,
2:10:03
Governor Cuomo was a champion of a law that made it easier for women to claim sexual harassment. That's correct. He also mandated employees in the state take sexual harassment training. On Wednesday, the governor was asked if he took the training.
2:10:22
answer is yes.
2:10:24
In 2019, he did not take the sexual harassment training. How do you know that? I was there. I heard Stephanie. Say, I can't believe I'm doing this for you. Oh, I'm making a joke about the fact that she was completing the training for him. And then I heard her at the end asked him to sign the certificate. In a statement, Stephanie Benton cromoz office director categorically denies the exchange and says this is not true. What do you think should happen to Andrew Cuomo?
2:10:51
I think he shouldn't start telling the truth. I'm really confident in this investigation. But if this investigation finds that he has conducted himself this way, which he absolutely has, because I have contemporaneous evidence, he should step down.
2:11:08
John: Boom, wow. So he didn't even take this is by the way, just the same.
2:11:15
Adam: Same test I didn't take Go ahead, say it.
2:11:18
John: This is the same test
2:11:20
Adam: I took. And I didn't.
2:11:22
Unknown: You didn't you were Cuomo
2:11:24
Adam: going to know because I didn't have someone take it for me. I did not have someone
2:11:29
John: take okay. Okay, fine. point five point point.
2:11:32
Unknown: Point, a point of personal privilege.
2:11:35
John: It's a point either, yeah, you didn't have it? You right. You didn't bluff your way through it with a mole crap. Like you did? I did not I took it. Yeah, you by you know what I did, though, because I wanted to get through it real quick. Yeah, this is just for anybody out there was, I had a number of multiple screens open. So I can have the
2:11:56
Adam: right, right.
2:11:57
John: If you have the computing power, you can do this test and get through it really quick, because you have multiple screens open. And you can check, you know, check yourself and you can pre take the test while taking it. It's just a complex, complicated map. But I did take it and I did have to add the stuff that's in this test is dumb enough to make your hair stand on end. You can be sued? Well, I've seen you in many situations where you could have been sued. But you can be standing outside your coat in California, by the way, this is California only. You can be standing outside your company. Outside outside the door outside the facilities and a strange woman can walk by. And you can say nice, nice outfit, you were in there. And you your company can be sued. It's and there's precedent for all these crazy things. It's this test should be taken by everybody to show you how screwed up California is.
2:12:58
Adam: But But if but if you think we're taking the test is not going to stop you from getting sued.
2:13:05
John: It will stop you from doing certain things that you never got sued. No. Just the opposite. I'm not a douchebag. You're not a douchebag. And you've been deduced. I remember, but you could make a mistake. And I think this test is good. Oh yeah. Taking these these days. He's too busy. Yeah,
2:13:25
Adam: I remember 1996 took my company, public, NASDAQ. And the minute we were on the board, like that week. There were lawyers downstairs, we're on the 20th floor. I think that a couple floors. There were lawyers downstairs and a woman would walk out simple. Do you work for think think new ideas? Any anyone talked to you in a degrading manner? And they were ready. And in fact, we once got to because what happens is you have insurance directors and officers insurance, you got all kinds of insurances that come along with being a public company. In any lawsuit you get we had shareholder lawsuits. I mean, it's normal business is always pretty much for the exact amount that you're insured for. And that's how that's how the system works. It's disgusting. Really is the whole thing's desert concert. A lot of stuff. I
2:14:15
Unknown: think.
2:14:16
John: A lot of people blame so Cuomo did he's fighting this as best he can, but more person comes out. He's toast.
2:14:25
Adam: Well, didn't we just get a third one today or does this include
2:14:28
John: the third one is wishy washy? I have a good third one.
2:14:32
Adam: I have a short chromo clip actually, just because I wanted to make you feel better that you weren't alone

Adam: cromoz AIDS is after you. In brain is funny, so aids Yeah, brain does funny stuff. So he's in trouble. But it's unclear to me and he says he's not going to step down. I don't think there's anything that anyone can do at this point other than what should happen is an outrage of a lot of people whose parents or grandparents died going into the governor's mansion, and calling for his head on a stick.
2:16:23
John: Well, he's got it, he's being attacked. But do you think something's got to happen? This guy's just a big phony that needs to go by like to see these didn't? Didn't they take the award away from the Milli Vanilli? Yes.
2:16:38
Adam: They should totally take me away. Of course, of course. And I'm I'm a little pissed because Tina was talking to one of the RF bees. The Republicans from Brooklyn, and I don't have a name, but they said yeah, if Cuomo goes, his potential replacement is far worse. So I need to find out who that potential replacement is. Because that's it could be a complete radical person like an AOC. Hillary.

And he starts out by saying e k Ka Ka Ka, which is in the morning in Hawaii. In case you were wondering, the inaugural Big Island meetup definitely happened I couldn't be more pleased with the results myself my gorgeously glowing girlfriend three G's arrived at Punahou Puna Lou Lou's black sand beach with nothing but poo poos and beverages to see who might show up right at noon, in which punctuality is very unwise. And we were joined by fellow producer Steve, Karen and, Judy. Once we spread out our food and got introductions out of the way we continue to enjoy a rather windy day on the beach having triggered free conversation into the mid afternoon. We had heard other party donation segments in the past so we knew na producers existed on the island. But with everything being two hours away here, it's always a toss up if you can organize it in one place. Looking forward to our next meetup attempt any big island producers who are interested in hosting or joining feel free to reach out to me to coordinate Aloha and stay safe he says and we appreciate that. 2:35:35
John: So I can see this rail is a bunch of Grail cars going by down at the bottom. And they're just these kind of weird looking very shallow gondolas. Yeah, filled with boulders. And it's just going along at about, I don't know, 40 miles an hour, and it's like so far is about 50 of these of these shallow gondolas. guvnah goes the last one just filled with random boulders.
2:36:03
Adam: That's all about a Flintstone esque.
2:36:06
John: Oh, yeah. In fact, it looks like a Flintstone kind of thing. Yeah, you're right.
2:36:09
Adam: Let's roll out the cancel cannon for a moment.
2:36:13
Unknown: A racist.
2:36:20
Adam: I got the my pasta gloves locked and loaded. We already had this as the noodle gun. We already discussed David Brooks. Now, he had to resign from the Aspen Institute. Isn't that a big deal? the Aspen Institute
2:36:36
John: setting run by that guy wrote the Steve Jobs book, who we think is probably with the white hair and seems to write a lot of big thick books in a very short period of time. I think we may have discussed this kind of thing. earlier in the show. He was running it for a while I don't even know what they're supposed to do. It's just some sort of a front. Yeah, he was one of the board members or something. I thought they were paying him but he had to get special permission to even go there from the New York Times. And what he seems that he did while he was there, they started up another industry where he got paid a full of guests and full time salary. muckety muck in the times didn't like that. And neither the Aspen it was,
2:37:18
Adam: it was even worse. He had he had been consulting for a company and there was a certain term which I've now forgotten. And then he was writing New York Times, articles about this particular terms, and I find it now that was and it was obvious that he was you know, he was consulting for whatever this organization was and promoting it in his leavers
2:37:43
John: that is called weavers weavers. Yes.
2:37:45
Adam: weavers is concept what is Weaver's? What the hell is that
2:37:48
John: diner? No, is some sort of a, I have no idea what I looked like to find it out. I couldn't figure it out. It is financed by Facebook, though. And he wrote favorable articles about Facebook. And that's where he's going to get Yeah, he
2:38:00
Unknown: should. He should. Oh, yeah, he
2:38:03
John: should he sees he hasn't been good for years. And besides that, he's in the New York Times, The New York Times deal is you get paid good money, top of the line, guild money and you're locked up
2:38:13
Adam: and you're locked up for that, right?
2:38:15
John: You get about 125 to $140,000 a year or something in that range. And you might get a bonus if your column is I'm not sure how much you can get. But you get a huge pension. That's almost the same amount for the rest of your life when you quit after like 20 or 30 years, or 25 years, I think. And and you given the opportunity to write these books with the New York Times kind of blessing Russia, you're supposed to do books, right to make your extra money not go work for some company thinking it's gonna be a.com winner and you're gonna walk away a billionaire, which is what I think was was going on.
2:38:52
Adam: Wow. Now as he shouldn't he should have to resign from the times too. Don't you think? If we're doing canceling, let's do it. Right.
2:38:59
John: Well, if you with the with the staff that's there. Now. In fact, I was thinking about this, because somebody mentioned this. And I said, Well, you know, he may be he's already been thinking about, about getting out of the times because of the nature of the new worker. They're the new millennial Zoomer, you know, weirdos that are the running the New York Times at the lower level. I think he saw his days maybe sighs days are numbered. Whoo hoo. I mean, here's the thing with the culture that's there at the moment. Nobody does.
2:39:35
Adam: No, no, no, not at all. Let's see, Austin. City Council voted Thursday to formally apologize for the city's involvement in segregation and systemic racism. And the initiated a process for creating black embassy to assist black led businesses and organizations.
2:39:58
Unknown: Huh
2:40:00
Adam: Here's the offense among one of many 1928 City master plan created a quote Negro district, a 1938 city seizing of the by the way that was LBJ his entire plan. So you know, a 1938 city seizing emancipation Park through eminent domain to build the first African American housing project, the United States. God and a 1959 vote for the creation of an urban renewal agency that led to mass displacement of black austinites from their historic communities. Alright, everybody, black people come back to Austin. You're safe now because we apologize.
2:40:41
John: I got a two clips, but
2:40:43
Adam: I'm not quite done yet.
2:40:44
John: Let's say you're done. I thought you were finished. You wait, you did it. You ended up with a with an emphatic boom. Yeah, that to me was a cue.
2:40:51
Adam: I'm sorry. I missed you do. I miss Cujo? I have the renaming of the James Webb Space Telescope.
2:41:03
John: Yeah, to the Webb Hubble. guys will get that joke.
2:41:10
Adam: Yeah, I got you, the successor to the Hubble honors. A man who took part in the effort to purge LGBT people from the Federal workforce. So they want to take his telescope naming rights away.
2:41:28
John: Know what's the name of the telescope currently?
2:41:32
Adam: The James Webb Space Telescope.
2:41:36
John: And James Webb is notorious gay hater,
2:41:39
Adam: apparently, and I said it according to Scientific American. And around 2015 in the history of Webb's complicity with persecution came to light persecution yet. I guess he posted something on his blog that was wrong.
2:41:59
Unknown: Oh,
2:42:01
John: something is probably exactly what he did.
2:42:04
Adam: I was talking to Willow, you know, cuz she wants to know about the what that what the hell is going on with, with Dr. Sue. So she members, Dr. Sue, she's been to Italy for 26 years. And she said, Look, there's two stories, and I get the one about the big industrial publisher who makes tons of millions a year really knocked out of the park with this removal of six titles. And they said but you know, there's How about this? You know, the read America Day. And so as we're talking about that, and then you you came up with a newsletter. You know, read America Day was tied into this cancel.
2:42:43
John: Read America Day is Seuss's birthday. Yeah, let's meet Yeah.
2:42:48
Adam: And but you sent out this whole list of the newsletters in the newsletter of all the things that March is.
2:42:56
John: Yeah, yes. It's an incredible list.
2:42:58
Adam: Yeah. And, and lo and behold it not only being International Women's month, but I think tomorrow, international nasty Woman's Day or whatever. If If we can't have Dr. Seuss and read America Day, how in the world can we have the Muppets? Were the only lead female role is portrayed by a pig
2:43:24
John: there's one other female but she You're right. She's the lead. She's a pig. She's
2:43:27
Adam: a pig. And by the way, there's only one female Smurf What was she doing?
2:43:37
I don't know. She was real busy with the other Smurfs. And big bird is obviously transphobic stereotype. So I think deep platforming can go on forever.
2:43:48
John: Oh, they gotta get rid of the Muppets. You're right.
2:43:50
Adam: The Miss ego has got to go. Miss Piggy is misogynist The Muppets? massagin is Muppets. There you go. Massage definitely
2:44:00
John: on them is on the chopping block. Yep. You mentioned it
2:44:03
Adam: and let's get that to hashtag trending people massage Muppets hashtag hashtag International Women's Day. D platform I'm in Yeah, I think we can do it. I think we could do it. Before you get your clips. What ISOs Do we have because I think I had a couple I yeah,
2:44:26
John: I got Well, you know, I really don't have anything I have the now I get nothing. I'm sorry. I tried and tried and tried. But I I even went to things that were just obscure out there. I get I couldn't get anything.

2:49:29
Adam: keep people are coming back for the next show.
2:49:32
John: California. No, California gender stereotypes proposed law. Listen to this one.
2:49:38
Unknown: state lawmakers are considering a bill that would require department stores and large retailers to have gender neutral children sections.
2:49:44
Assemblyman Evan Lowe says that
2:49:45
he wants to make the shopping experience more inclusive for children stores that
2:49:49
violate the proposed legislation or specific toys and clothing that some groups claim perpetuates gender stereotypes
2:50:00
Adam: We're canceling all kinds of stuff, aren't we?
2:50:02
John: Oh Lee in San Francisco dead raccoon. Here's the one under the radar. This is the under the radar clip, okay. And this, I believe this this is she's gonna keep staying on this little thing and it's gonna happen. It's gonna happen sooner than later. This is the wealth tax tax, the Elizabeth Warren style.
2:50:29
Unknown: Democrats determined to spend big to rescue the economy and address income inequality. Senator Elizabeth Warren wants to tax the ultra wealthy to pay for it.
2:50:39
This is a tax that hits only the top 1/10 of 1%. Again, we're talking a lot about fairness in our tax system, adding two cents in a wealth tax means they're still getting a great deal. But it's time for them to pay a fair share. And I am completely confident that this is a constitutionally responsible way to do it. Now she's
2:51:08
proposing an ultra millionaire tax a 2% annual tax on the net worth of households and trust between $50 million and a billion dollars billionaires would face a 3% annual tax. Now she has to convince Washington and her own party's Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has said a wealth tax would be too quote, messy to implement. Senator Warren told CNN is Matt Egan as she and Yellen they need to talk about implementation. She says once a wealth tax is put in place it would not be hard to monitor her bill calls for increasing the IRS his budget to build up the agency's audit firepower. modernize it systems. Yeah.
2:51:47
Adam: audit firepower. You know who's gonna get audited once they upgrade the audit firepower?
2:51:53
John: Yeah, everybody but the rich all the schlubs like me and you Hey, got it her. Geez. Alright, quick Costco tip.
2:52:05
Adam: A Costco tip. Ladies and gentlemen, the wine tip
2:52:07
John: is showed up at our Costco but my Mimi says it showed up at the Port Angeles Costco like a month ago, and I find that to be a little annoying, and she bought some. But this comes out every good vintage it didn't come out in 2017. Probably for good reason. It was not a great year in Bordeaux, but the 2018. Bordeaux superiore that comes out at Costco is a kirklands actually made from Little Chateau, which is named on the label. You can see it if you want.
2:52:35
Adam: It's Kirkland label,
2:52:37
John: Kirkland but it's not a regular Kirkland wine label is the Kirkland dark navy blue label, almost a Black Label Kirkland. I'm putting in the show the dark navy blue labels that you see on Kirkland wines usually means that they put some extra effort in or they find a really good one. It's kind of code for people buy Kirkland wine. But this particular Kirkland Bordeaux, I bought it since 2015. And the 2015 was good to 2016 was spectacular. They ran out of that really very fast. The 2018 is the newest one. And it's maybe the best I've ever done. I think it's even gotten rated as a very high number.
2:53:17
Adam: What does it cost? what's the what's the price of the $7.98? Ladies and gentlemen, if you want tips, if you want to impress This is your show. And Aren't you glad you waited when you heard it being teased? It is the 2018 Bordeaux superior, the Kirkland dark navy blue label, and it should be $7.99.
2:53:41
John: Yeah, 99 is probably
2:53:42
Adam: we're going there tomorrow. I'm gonna go Well, hopefully
2:53:45
John: you have it at your store. I mean, I don't know how many stores have it.
2:53:49
Adam: I'll let you know for sure.
2:53:50
John: And they got lots of it. Cool.
2:53:54
Adam: Coming up next on our agenda stream.com the latest episode of podcasting 2.0, the open source board meeting of the podcast index, end of show mixes we've got dude named James, we've got Fletcher and Blaney last minute submission, I've not listened to it.
